    Melanie ,
I had a couple one on one super powerful sessions with you over 10 years ago (I’ll never forget that you had just released that podcast episode where you had talked about narcissism and co-dependency being the opposite sides of the same coin. You were so worried about the backlash of that podcast, but I still believe you hit the nail on the head with that one) after coming out of an abusive marriage with a subsequent even worse romantic relationship shortly thereafter that basically caused the ‘final nail in the coffin’. After that dark time, ive remained single and kept a loving, calm, and drama free household for my son and myself and basically shut myself down romantically during all these years. That wasn’t necessarily my intention initially, but looking back, after my son is almost grown, I know deep down that was the right choice for us. Soon he’ll graduate from high school and I know that I still have a so much more work to be done with my healing and am ready to start tackling things again. Because of you, Melanie, you brought me so much peace when my life and marriage completely fell apart 12 years ago and you gave me the strength to move on. You are such a blessing to us ❤

Hi Melanie. I'm listening to this with interest. You and I have a lot of similar ideas about this as I've often noticed. I'm a NARP member.
I have to say that I have to reject your comments about feminism. Feminism arose as a defensive, protective, and ultimately empowering and uplifting awakening for women in the face of male abuse of our energy. Until men, all or most men, claim and own a healthy use of masculinity, feminism is absolutely necessary for our protection and bad mouthing it only keeps women who have problems with inverted misogyny, people pleasing, man pleasing, and belittling other women. Portraying feminism as a bad thing, makes women enemies of other women and non-protectors of themselves. I think that you have an understanding that is very different from mine about what feminism is. I think it's worth getting some education in that area if you have not already pursued that.
Case in point, most women who say things like that in videos on TH-cam wind up with men in the comment section, letting her know that she's one of the good ones because she said that. That is narcissistic conditioning. Next thing you know she's enjoying being picked as one of the good ones. It is something that has been the legacy of patriarchy on us for millennia.
Personally, I'm not being manipulated that way anymore. I've had enough of men telling me who I am, whether I'm good or bad, whether I'm desirable or I'm not, whether I have value or I don't. That should never have been in their hands to the extent I put it in their hands in the first place. Now that I know that, I am a feminist.

I totally understand what you are saying and agree. Yet, I personally, after once identifying wirh "feministism," love more of the Unity Consciousness model with healthy boundaries, of course, rather than having defences and resentment towards "men". Sadly, in my humble opinion; the movement went toward toxic femininity and took us out of our true Feminine female power, which is manifesting and sharing power with the Divine Masculine and not toward it. There are fabulous men who exist who honour and respect women who are still manly, strong and protective. Not because we need it but because its divine! 👏 ❤ Defences don't allow these men in, or the result is to unconsciously manifest men who represents these traumas or men who are powerless and she ends up being the man! That, as a Quantum Dating coach is my humble opinion! ❤

The problem is that most men, even if they are being hurt by the patriarchy, don't really seek to ne outside of it, because they are not aware enough, or because they benefit from it, in equal measure with how they suffer under it. There are good men and there are a lot more of us than there are of them, unfortunately. I don't want to dampen the sunshine of anybody who is able to look at the state of manhood in a positive light without hurting herself or other women; I'm just not seeing what you're seeing. Perhaps it has something to do with being an American. The toxic masculinity is extremely thick here.

@MelanieToniaEvans I love that this came up. I've always been conflicted about feminism and repelled by what it looks like now. When you talk about unity consciousness that feels like the ultimate goal. Feminist arguments feel like more 'stinking thinking' IMHO 💗

@lamata2013 sadly many of these movements were speared in ways that created more division. I'm all for healing us all back together! Thank you for your comment ❤ 🦋
