It's Dosey* not Dhose with an H. And some other Gujju guy wanting it to be called Dosa, the dish has got its name in Kannada, the original language in which the name was coined.
When he said dose instead of dosa ,I pressed subscribe button immediately ,what special about this channel is he pronounces the regional dish names as it is
Being a person who grew up in mysore i can say you have to go hear (vinayaka mylari) very early or you wont get table, Our routine would be visit chamundeshwari temple early morning then return at around 7:00am to this hotel eat dose then visit the zoo, Palace and visit RRR eat mutton biryani or their vegitable full meals, Take rest then visit srirangapattattana/pakshidham and you would return to your home or hotel, In the evening we ate dinner either ar RRR again or at parklane then the next day would be reserved for KRS...
You know, your videos are not only awesome for food lovers, but also its imp for my kids, ..the way you always talk and speak English, i always advise my kids to LEARN how to speak English and express your thought process - just great ...i mean, your pronunciation, speaking ability, grammar, etc everything is perfect for young people to know how to express inner feelings.
I am from Pune.....Came to Mysuru 3 times for Air force interviews....I feel so disappointed I didn't see this video earlier.....Those mutton biryani look scrumptous.....Coupled with the amazing weather and peaceful environment....Mysuru is one of the ultimate places to live😁
I was suffering from appetite loss problem since last three years..since a year I started watching your videos and now the problem is totally wiped out...now my family is suffering from my overeating habits..😜
I studied in SDMIMD, Mysore. Although, I'm back to my hometown now, your Mysore series reminds me of those good old days, I spent in Mysore. Been to most of the restaurants. Thanks for the videos Sir :)
Kripal sir, the way you exploited the mylari masala dosa and gave the description of it and the way you made my mouth watering, made me go out now at 11.30 at night in search of masala dosa. If I had not found a dosa bandi to eat a masala dosa, I would have landed in trouble without a sleep. I feel even a person who does not eat dosa would try once for your explanation sir. Hats off to you.
Thanks to channel, I visited mysore for sankranthi. I tasted mylari dosa, hanumanthu biryani, RRR restaurant. Thanks to the channel for guiding with good food along with my family.
After retirement, your show has been my best time pass period. Try the KD Road Nivedyashesha hotel, they offer only lunch only on weekends, ghee roasted items, 25+ items on bale ele (banana leaf) dont forget to have ganjianna and payasa. You are welcome
My name is ramesh racha from telangana.i came mysore for postal training centre for a 37 days. In this training period i wanna meet you during holidays.because I'm the big fan of you. Thank you sir
Ohhh Myyy God! That was a very enlightening culinary journey, Kirpal! And that too in Mysuru! Just the right way to celebrate your stay in Mysuru! Thank you!!!🙏
Good you visited Mysore, selective hotels n nice presentation, I am from Mysore but unfortunately missed meeting you! Hotel RRR is good place to have biryani at noon time but evenings after 6 pm, if you have biryani, they serve it cold very disappointing for a hotel with reputation! Biryani tastes best served freshly cooked n steaming hot! Please , visit Khan's restaurant in Bamboo Bazar n taste the special Mandi biryani, one of the best tasting biryani in Mysore!
I m going to mysore in few days and i hope i get a chance to visit all these places and savor these dishes. You present and explain it so well even if i m not hungry i start to feel hungry. 😀
Your choice of restaurants are just too good to get a glimpse of city’s historic food style. Recently been to Mysore and tried Thatte Idly at Bidadi and Mutton biryani+pepper mutton. GTR tiffin could not get hold of as it was closed. Thanks for your blogging on food. Hope you have similar blogs available for Pondicherry too

I'm born, brought up and studies in Mysuru. During my highschool days, every Sunday we used to climb the 1000+ steps to the top of Chamundi Betta. Then climb down, ride our bicycles to GTR and fill ourselves. My usual menu would be 3idlis for Rs. 4. I am sucker for their chutney. Amongst my group, my record for most number of bowls of chutney for 3 idlis, is still unbroken at 15. Yes, 15 bowls of chutney for 3 idlis.
King Ranadheera Kanteerava of Wodeyar dynasty was known to climb Chamundi hills every day with a young bullock on his back He was a legendary ruler who expanded the wodeyar kingdom by defeating the sultans of Bijapur various other smaller kingdoms He went to trichy dressed as a common man and defeated a proud wrestler there
Perfectly shoot the Flavours. Sir kindly let me know if any one from North India want to settle and do Business in Mysore he will have to face language barrier or people there understand and speak hindi as well.
Kripal please don't put videos at lunch time. It feels mouth watering and hungrryyy before lunch time. I'm going to lunch right away skipping my work ... Hahah 😀 Excellent video as usual. I love the idlis by the way.
Am a tourist to mysore. After watching this video- I went to vinayaka mylari. Food was wonderful. Thanks. You called it "Dhose" instead of "Dosa".. That wins every local person's heart..
Gujarati call it 'Dhosa' and 'Mendu Vada'...here in New Jersey, USA...they win a American Gujju heart.
I bet 👍
It's Dosey* not Dhose with an H.
And some other Gujju guy wanting it to be called Dosa, the dish has got its name in Kannada, the original language in which the name was coined.
Call it dvase and you will get all you can eat chutney
