Arthur Morgan, wasn’t the saddest but god damn did it hurt the most. I guess it wasn’t as sad because we had time to get used to the fact how he was dying and the fact he could die happy knowing he did what he wanted to before he died and their is a sense of sorrow in that he saved someone a lot like himself. The writing and acting in that game are in another league

It was a hard blow, and yet that's only the start of the game. That game starts with an "Oh F" moment and has on the edge of seat, then Sarah gets shot... then the game actually begins. Very good writing on those two games.

Lee’s death made me cry for weeks, i loved the relationship he built with Clementine, it hurt so much. I even cried when he was bitten. It’s just so sad to see all the good characters die, it’s painful.

The voice actor for Price in Modern Warfare 3 expressed so much loss in his voice when talking about Soap... It FELT like a performance perfectly executed, like he was there, he WAS Price.

@REEVE SINGH I never understood why people cried for Roach and Ghost, despite playing all the other games and loving them a lot.
@REEVE SINGH I understood soap completely. I guess it's because I was more of a Black Ops 1 fan, that's the game I grew up playing and it was my first Call of Duty ever. Aside from Reznov in BO1, the only other games that made me sad were Red Dead Redemption 2 and Detroit: Become Human.

@@necko697 i played both rdr2 and lou but i still think rdr2 is way sadder, mainly because of the better storyline and character development rdr2 had. rdr2 also took around 60-80 hours to complete, and lou like 10 hours, so you get attached to rdr2 more because of the time you spend with it. both games are good though, i just personally like rdr2 better.

I don’t really cry during sad moments in movies, games, etc but Lee, Ghost&Roach, Aunt May, Joel, Jackie, and Arthur’s deaths were the ones that were really close to almost making me cry.

Ori is so sad man. And it was like a couple of minutes the game has started. Made me think a couple of times whether I should play it or not.
I just recently finished playing 2020 final fantasy 7 remake interlude. Having been a huge an of the oiginal ff7 from 1997, my heart was literally clenching as I played down the formidable path that left gamers scarred for over 2 decades. I especially made it a point to cherish every little moment with Aerith as I fell more and more in love with her throughout the gameplay. The remake is only part 1 of the whole story that is yet to launch. As I patienty wait...a part of me dies inside knowing what comes next. Especially due to the improved new gen graphics, I am all too scared to face her death in such quality knowng fully well how bad it impacted me back in the days even with low poly figures and no voice dubbed dialogues.
Bt’s death was the first that has ever gotten me to tear up a bit.

Infamous one was pretty good and underrated by how good the acting itself was there compared to others where it just looked like they were waiting to speak their lines

I wanted to see the last cinematic from the Krieg´s dlc in Borderlands 3. His "reencounter" with Maya in the only place she still lives: his memory; sharing his past self with his phsycopath self is one of the most beautiful scenes I have experienced.

The saddest moments in video games I've seen are the last of us and fire emblem echoes shadows of valentia.
I know it's not on the list, but What Remains of Edith Finch is a major heartbreaker. It's a game about how each family member died prematurely and in horrible ways. A baby drowns in a bathtub while his mother argues with her ex on the phone, a 13-year-old boy is impaled by a totem pole when his parents left him outside in a storm, and Lewis' story. . . that one I don't want to ruin for you
Arthur. Chapter VI had merely just started showing us the kind and soft heart of Arthur before plot killed him. Truly an astonishing character. He was the only character who made me cry because of a video game. Have to give Rockstar that.
