hello, I'm an electrical engineering student and i have to choose a course, python or autocad. which one do you think would be more useful for electrical engineers?
Well, I would assume that would be the case. I'm a network engineer where I have to design network topologies to then use those on top of a building infrastructure or in this network infrastructure but in order to do that you would need the building or house design as well to know exactly what will go where. We normally use something like GNS3 or Packet Tracer but if you want the bigger picture, more detailed so to speak, you then hop to something like Autocad. But I still don't feel like you should be an engineer of some sort FIRST. Just like how I'm not in the photography business, I still know how to use something like Photoshop professionally or adobe illustrator for logo design but am I a graphic designer? not really no. Just a hobby.
@@yvanthepcgamer7993I get your point .. regarding the background information your learned while becoming a network engineer .. however if some one were to only want to work at ( say if they know someone who works at a firm where they use autocad and they are hiring with certifications) would engineering education be needed ? Or studying the criteria similar to Autodesk for certification be useful however you mention you have variety experience that potentially helps you in the field ? Regardless if it is for the field ?

I was using AutoCAD 30 years ago. Mostly with console commands like move line, draw line and so on. Where did it go in later versions?

You can 3d print it.. send it to a cnc machine to make it out of metal… u can simulate the bolt ON something
