I've loved these since I saw one in metallic red 20 years ago. I finally bought a basket case in 2014 and brought her back to life. I put black 4 into 4 pipes on it as it was supposed to be an homage to the earlier Z1 of 1972. Mind those big end bearings though...
@@guyburgs I put wavy disks and folding retractable levers, heated grips (cause we need them here)...don't think we'll find a set of spoked wheels any time soon (hen's teeth)
@@oliverjocher2999 ture... not easy to find... There is a company in Germany make custom spoke wheels for the Zeph 1100... very spenny tho..I've learned to love the retro alloys over the years... at first I just wanted to ditch them for spokes. But now they seem a part of that the 1100 is.
@@guyburgs true that...I've painted mine gloss black, and put on orange rimtape on with the Kawasaki Zephyr 1100 script. Goes with the orange colour of the rest of the bike
@@Burgs your zr1100 has a different cdi to the rest of the world and as such will have a reduced top speed as per the Japanese market rules ! beautiful bike you have and not seen a black bike with those stripes before most people do a green or blue with the Z1b stripes ! very nice
@@Tsunami_Fakta oalahh indo juga toh wkwk, Setau ku sih Motor ini emang udah distop produksi dari tahun 1997, cuman emang motor ini gak masuk resmi ke indonesia, Tapi Pasti adalah 1 atau 2 biji atau bahkan lebih Orang yang masukin ZR1100 Ini ke sini lewat Importir umum wkwkwk, Cuman buat nemuin Motor ini Kondisi Seken & Surat-Surat Lengkap alias Full-Paper Behh Susah banget sih kalopun ada Harganya Pasti Mahal banget mungkin diatas 400 Jt atau 500 Jt Up wkwkwk Langka Banget ini di indo 😆😆

Jeremy Eden zr1100a models do have gearbox issues apart from that are bulletproof engines !

Zr1100b models have no gearbox issues they were made from 95 onwards !
