I always find it odd that nobody ever really addresses Ei's indifference towards Scaramouche as it is. He was a proof of concept, a prototype of the Shogun. She never wanted him to do anything besides just live, which is why she let him go. Everything else is a product of his own bitterness for his poor lot in life and the manipulation of the Fatui, and it's telling that he is still fundamentally the same as the Wanderer.
In a way, Ei would be right to not hold anything against him; he's an angry child, not an evil monster, and more importantly he's the angry child she created and left to his own devices in the world of mortals. Even if she doesn't think of him as her child, he is still her creation and she has an obligation to him.

I agree with almost all of it, but Scaramouche and Wanderer are not the same. Scara killed himself in the same way Greater Lord did, Wanderer and Nahida clearly refers to Scara as his past incarnation.

@@cassiofbs There IS a distinction between the two, but the Wanderer still has virtually all of Scaramouche's personality, just mellowed out.
His alignment, and by extension his outlook on life, has shifted, but that's it really.
