@@seventyeone8087 he was this boy that the kabukimono (scaramouche before he joined the fatui) lived with. after the whole furnace incident revolving niwa, he left and wandered alone for a bit until he found this boy living alone in a hut and decided to befriend him.
it was the death of this boy that was the final straw for scara and he basically snapped after that, as he saw his death as a betrayal considering the child promised to live with him forever but alas, he was only a kid, they both were :,D

@@flamiaw8701 Niwa was essentially Scaramouche's first friend, the one that taught him smithing, the first to see him as a human, and unfortunately, the one that was.... 'Sacrificed', for Scaramouche's 'sake', shall we say.
Also he was one of Kazuha's ancestors.

I didn't know this until cy yu mentioned that scara kitty is there because a part of him died and the other lived on. So he can see this realm of the dead as wanderer and that's why he felt so emotional afterwards seeing his loved one, even tho they too forgot about him but happy that somewhere in the living world someone still remember them and that makes me cry 😭
This heartful story made me cry.
Nahida's words taught us something important.
Even if a person dies, he continues to live in someone's heart.
I just hope that when Natlan comes out I hope there will be a festival to honor the dead like the Mexica culture since it will be mostly inspired by the Mexicas and the other ancient cultures of Latin America and it would be nice if at least in that nation it is done and we as the protagonist make an offering to our friends who died on the traveler's journey

@@bluemoon3043 Well, if Natlan is known as the nation of war, in Latin American history, before the arrival of the Spanish, there were civilizations here that had a god of war, there were gods of death who were responsible for taking the deceased to the cities of the dead to rest, it would not be unreasonable to ask that the "day of the dead" be included in the genshin
The moment Ruu’s theme song played, i just started sobbing. Ruu’s quest is just so powerful and emotional…. Then the cameos from other characters…. Especially Tepeiiii… Thank you so much for this animation…. 😢
OKAY FR I keep seeing stuff about Ruu but I finished the Archon quests and he wasn't in them?? Is he in a world quest?

There are *so many* things I love about this animation that it took me days since its release to compile a proper list:
• Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) inspiration
• The sakura petals which form a passage to the spirit realm (as a reference to marigold petals)
• Karkata
• Karkata with "hat"
• Rosalyne and Rostam reunited
• Raiden and Xiao's respective families
• The Youkai folks having hell of a good time partying in the afterlife
• The little nameless boy still being remembered (even if just by one last person!)
• The spirit realm looking like how I decorated my teapot lmao
• The entire rest of the video
I mean the core idea of Obon and Día de los Muertos is pretty similar

I Feel bad for the nameless kid, he couldn't even cross cause no one put up a photo of him 😭😭 but at least wanderer remembers him 😭
Ahh i'm speechless with how much attention you put into this. Crepus with both of his sons, supporting them both. 😢 Ruu! Tomo and Kazhua! Dainslif and Halfdan. Dainslief slightly smilling at Halfdan. Ahh I'm crying so much. Makoto and her friends... The nameless bard... There's so many references I recognize from events and the lore.
Also at the beginning La signora and her fiance, OMG you really thought of everything
And the most hard-hitting moment was when Rukkhadevata appeared at the end....

When I saw the characters’ friends and family, especially the kid Scaramouche considered his “last betrayal” I felt a nostalgia for characters I haven’t or can’t meet in-game
as a Xiao main who is really into lore and backstories, this part made me smile 1:15 I hope we can get more lore and story on the yakshas
This is so adorable and sad, the story is so touching. Not to mention how cute Scarakitty is. I love this so much! I had to rewatch it, and I have a feeling that I'll come back to it again.
I started sobbing when the nameless kid showed up then cried even more when Niwa showed up. These are the two important people to Wanderer 😢😭

Just remember travelers. Don't forget the Travels you've been through and hoped that they'll not be forgotten from the past of your journey. All this lore, the people and vision holders have sacrificed and there's a reason why they somehow died.
Those memories of the people that their lives passed away in the afterlife was the dreamland.
I feel that when Wanderer saw his friend and the boy he still remembers to see him on the dreamland. I'm not alone to see him cry but I wanted to comfort wanderer at the moment and hoped that he'll move on and have to accept his past. I'm glad he didn't forget the boy but at least he made it to the dreamland..

@@silverturtle6502 Rukkhadevata is not Nahida. Kusanali was created by Rukkhadevata. The 'mother' allegory fits their relationship better than saying that they are the same. They share the same nature as both are avatars of Irminsul but they are two different individuals.

It's kind of weird because no one remembers Nahida's predecessor. The only one who knows about her existence in first place is the Traveller. She should not be existing in the spirit world right now. Still Nahida has a feeling that someone dear to her is close, so she lets a tear

@@Rabota-RU2024 I'm almost positive it's highly inspired by Coco, they even have the flower petal bridge, though here it's Sakura petals. And the idea of the kid not being able to cross beacuse he had no picture but still being there because someone remembers him.
