- This video shows a few of examples of dividing polynomials using long division. Remember that the process looks just like the process for dividing numbers. Always use parenthesis and subtract away carefully. For more videos please visit www.mysecretmat...
In six minutes you explained polynomial division better than my math program. Thank you.
Same
True .lol
Really
It explain only one divide
This guy sounds so happy while teaching. It's adorable
:^D It makes me happy, I can't help it.
I wish my math teacher sounded happy to teach lol
It's the tone of someone who loves maths and enjoys teaching it to students, I wish more maths teachers were like this, makes the class so much more interesting and fun :)
CassandraGrace Your call a grown man ADORABLE....
ok then
@@chuchumeow yes. grown men and women can be adorable.
Only if our school had a teacher that actually wants to interact with the students and help them, instead of having the must of going through a topic and forgetting about it. Wish there was more people like you around, helped me a lot. Thanks a ton.
Why are you here
I was absent for the couple of classes when we did this, and was able to catch up excellently thanks to this video!!! Thank you!!!
same lol
You are a gifted teacher. Subscribed! I took no math in college. Actually, I took one class that was embarrassingly bad. The teacher literally brought in a bag of pennies to help explain fractions. I was mortified to be in that one at all. But I digress. Two master's degrees later (all in religion/philosophy, hospital chaplains don't need a lot of math), I'm going back for ANOTHER master's, this one an MS in Statistics (because *research* chaplains need a lot of math!). So now I'm teaching myself Algebra I, II, and Trig so that I can go take Calculus I & 2 and Linear Algebra at my community college so that I can survive and thrive in the Stat degree. All that said, I was a bit lost on these problems. You made it VERY clear. The red pen to remind me to distribute the sign is what made it click, so thanks a TON. You're awesome. God bless!
how u doing now?
Wayyyyyy better than my teacher
I see KSHMR I press like Many people have been saying that when they don't get taught properly
TH-cam IS THE BEST
Your profile pic is the best
Pre-Calc? Anyone know why I would be doing this in algebra 2???
I'm doing it in the 8th grade in algebra 1. In Texas it's a algebra 1 thing now.
+TheGeekyGujarati damn good for you. I have just had standard classes the whole way. You'll be uber prepped opposed to me who's going in like a deer in headlights
+TheTacticalMile Algebra 1 in Junior college. Not sweating it :P. I know Engineers that started from Pre-Algebra @ JC.
+TheTacticalMile if you still font know you sometimes use long division in order to later differentiate the answer to the division
+TheTacticalMile I'm doin in in algebra 1...
You explain this so perfectly, I have no problem understanding what you are doing or how you are doing it. Keep on rockin'! thank you so much!!
Great video I wish my teacher was as clear as you.
You helped me so much man! I didn't understand this at all at school, but when you showed me, it was so easy! Liked, favorited and commented.
3 Months trying to understand this Long division and now i got it in 8 minutes wow thanks
Very clear and thorough explanation. Fantastic video! The world needs more teachers like you. Thank you!
Thanks! :^D
Thank you. I always get a C on my test but thanks to you I got an A.
Ive started taking math 536 and haven't done 436 since 2 years ago. My teacher is doing fast review and I started freaking out. I am so glad that you posted a video on long division with polynomials. If only teachers knew how to teach the way you do. Your the best, be blessed!
Hats off to you sir! You explained something in 4 minutes 55 seconds and I got it COMPLETELY. Where I've spent (in the last week), 4 maths classes, and 5 hours outside school trying to figure this out. :) Thank you so much!
My math tutor has been trying to teach me this for 2 weeks now, and i never got it in my head. Now i watched your video and all of a sudden im doing these problems by my self and i understand them! Thanks man, you're awesome!
Dude u r the best math teacher ive ever seen u cleared all my dobuts
A biiiiiiiig THANK YOU
I was never good at maths when I was a kid and I often flunked all my tests but now I understand everything clearly. Thanks.
You are the greatest teacher.. THANK YOU.. I literally come back here every time i forget how to do division with polynomials
the *best* math youtuber
I was getting ready to give up, thank you so much. I feel like this is the first time I fully understand something from this class. Thank you for being a better teacher!
my teacher can't teach for shi*
rt
Same..he doesn't even tell the equation in detail, and we all students are struggling to do the equation
he's such a bad maths teacher...fuck him..
slimstylro same
the struggle is unreal bro
Tahmid Khondkar ur dumb
I had only minutes left to learn this method and your video helped me a lot! Thanks so much.
You teach me more in 8 minutes than my math teacher does in a week. Thanks.
But the way you put the remainder is incorrect... Just me?
Isn't it supposed to be -10/x+2 when you put the remainder as your quotient?
Both are correct, however the way you did it looks good and professional.
I rarely comment on videos, but THANK YOU!!! I never grasped this in high school. Now that I'm in college and it was explained as if we already knew it, I was completely lost. You made it so simple!
I am convinced we could do our whole education in a year of youtube
Love how your videos aren't taught too fast, so I can actually follow along and process the info. My teacher is way too fast to keep up. GREAT VIDEOS!
I wish I had a teacher like you. Thanks a bunch, keep up the good work.
Teaching this to 8th & 9th graders in Algebra I. They think they'll never see it again..........thanks for putting "Pre-Calculus" in the title.
John Cox qड
Thank you so much! I got a test tomorrow and this really helped!
By solving 1st time it doesn't came the answer by trying twice and thrice I got it....... Thank a lot 4 this video...... Tnq lots..... And hats of u........ Sir........ Tnq.....
Skipping through this video in 1 minute gave me a better junderstanding than my teacher in an entire lesson. No shade to my teacher though, it is a simple fact that people learn better online. But also, you are a great teacher.
Thanks! :^D
This is perfect! I had like 10 problems like this for my Algebra 2 HW, and was completely lost! Now i can solve them! Thanks again!
Thank you so much, I have been embarrassed because I havent been able to understand polynomials but your video helped me so much and I have a lot more confidence for my test tomorrow
I would like to express my thanx for sharing this video with us and for explaining it in such a way that we can easily understand. A true teacher.
This guy is the goat! 🐐
Thanks! :^D
Oh my God. This is so clear!! I've struggled for agess
Glad I could help out. :^D
@@MySecretMathTutor Thank you for the help
You putting the 2nd line in parentheses and the minus sign on the outside really helped!!!
I know this is an old video, but I just found it, and it is one of the best by far for this topic. Thank you!!!
Thanks! It is an old video, but its still a good one for learning the process. I might redo this one, but only to make one that has better video/audio quality. :^D
Yo, thank you so much for the help! You teach better than any of my teachers. Your video is DOPE! I'm ready for this math Finals tomorrow
Thank you. This was giving me trouble and your nice clean overview of the process is what I needed.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. We are doing this in my algebra 2x class and I don't understand it at all. This helped me a LOT. thank you!!!
You simply explained it step by step. Something the authors of Math In Focus (Nelson - A cengage company) completely and utterly failed to do.
When the teacher doesn't actually teach what's on the homework, so you turn to TH-cam
you saved my life!!!! my math teacher never explains it clearly and I always mess this up. THANK YOU!
that was awesome. you just helped me more than my teachers could in person, thankyou. keep up the good work
You taught long division to me better than my tutor who has been trying to do it for 2 years and now has given up (not kidding)
Thank you so much! I spent my entire class time yesterday on my online math program trying to understand these kind of problems.
OMG you helped me a lot, I learned more watching your video than going to class.
my teacher spent 5 periods trying to explain this and you just did it in less than six minutes 👏
Whenever I encounter a long division problem, I always do the synthetic division. Thanks for making me understand long division better.
You are an amazing math teacher! Thank you so much for being so clear on what to do😀
How will we do it in 30 sec on a test???
OMG thank you so much. My books explaination is terrible and truly stumped but you cleared everything up and made it easy. Thank you so much! With hurricane Irma I can't go to math lab for help so I'm glad you were here !
What's a wonderful concept clearer you are
Thank you very much. TH-cam should be filled with math tutors like you.
Great explanation. I wish my teacher could explain like this.
thank you so much, you helped me come closer to passing my math test that i take tomorrow!! just a few more concepts and i should nail it. Again, thanks a million
you are my favorite person in the world right now!
Omg you are so good at teaching
i love the way you write. seems like all math tutorials on youtube have someone putting so much pressure on their index finger that it bends backwards. it looks disgusting because their fingers bones are bending the wrong way. I like how you gently bend yours the way a finger is supposed to bend :)
At 2:06, that 2nd variable/binomial, does it always have the same number exponent? This might be a stupid question...
I Have A Final Tomorrow On Dividing Polynomials And I Didn't Get It At All Until I Saw This Video, Thank You So Much!
In that last problem, did you put x^2 in the wrong place in the quotient?
How do you know how many placeholders you need in a question? Like in the x^3 - 1 question?
In the first example haw did u get the 5x2?
Of all the videos you prove this the RIGHT WAY!!!!!!!
This made it so simple omg thank you so much! Putting the placeholders in is so helpful too!
Long division became a lot easier when you do synthetic division
hi, iv just started doing pre-calculus and im trying to grasp the content but having a bit of trouble, could u plz show me how to do this one? I got it in class but im not sure if I got the correct answer. thank u. x(to the 4th power) -3x(to the 3rd power)- 11x(to the second power)+5x + 17=(x+2)
Bro u don't know how much u just helped,,,,Good Looking Out👍👍
Really You are a Legend of Math...... Also my🤫 secret math tutor...
Can a polynomial have two different factors?
YOU ARE A LIFESAVER❤️❤️❤️ TOMM IS OUR FINAL EXAM
Great video! Thank you so much! I like how you do more than one example, unlike other videos. Really helps!
Thank you SO much! I was so confused in class today, you cleared it up perfectly for me
how did you get a 10 from subtracting a -2 and 8? I am sorry I got lost there.
Thank you so much! You explained this in such a careful and methodical way which helped me understand this so much better! My lecturer could learn a thing or two from you!
how to know it that we have to put negative sign or positive sign?
Why did he pull the -28x down? Sorry, I have never done long division before.
This really did help. Thank you. You explain the process very well.
thanks man, this was extremely helpful
yo thank you so much for this video, it saved my life, mad respect!
my teacher told me i should withdraw because i didnt know this instead of just showing me how to as if it was difficult and you explained it perfectly thank you
I had too much confusion on this topic .its because of u I understood this .thank you sir
literally saved my life with this lesson
I have an exam in an hour... you just saved me😍🤞🏼
Hi is there a shortcut to this when youre given an exponent in the thousands like for example (3x^1500+4x^1498+x+1) ÷ (x+1)
What do you do if the second term cancels itself out?
thank you!!
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THANKKKKKYOUUUU SO MUCH....I cant explain how much I struggled with this
Thank you so much!!! I need this for my college algebra and this helped a lot.
Thank you, really clear and helpful explanation. Perfect level of simplicity for C2
Dude thank you so much this help me in my homework for finals.
thanks you so much for this Video! my you spoke clearly and at a really nice pace. My math teacher showed me this today, and i was lost! but i feel much better now haha.
ربنا يخليك اعمو انت اللي هتنجحني بكرة فال كالكولس ❤
how do i do it if the exponents is different
Finally! A teacher who is good at explaining things unlike my teacher...i've got a test tomorrow about it ...good luck myself *pats my back.
Hang in there. I hope you do great! :^D
@@MySecretMathTutor Thanks a lot i got a perfect score really...So everytime that i don't understand what my teacher said...i will count on you....I give you my biggest THANKS~
you are seriously the buggest help ever i think ill pass my trig quiz tommorow thankyou subscribed:)
