    • @imran_rasoli

      I swear I understood this when I got high for like 3rd time.
      I was walking with my friend in the night high as fuck, then all of a sudden I relaxed my mind, then so many deep thoughts came through my mind and this was one of them!
      And also I see this life just like a game, whatever you choose to do, even small small choices is what writes your future.
      For example you r in your class, you are quite. You control what people will think of you for the next 1 day, 1 week, year or for life depending on what you are going to do. For example you stand up and put your pants down and pee in the middle of the class room. If you are gonna do that you'll always be remembered in your class mates minds for the rest of their life, and that'll be a life where your class mates remember you as the wierd kid that peed in the classroom. But if you act like normal, then that life you could've had won't happen.
      I don't know if you read this far or get what I'm saying. But if you did remember you write your future and this life is a game and YOU control it.

    • @imran_rasoli
      @imran_rasoli 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @LK 6767 I like that! I love deep thoughts.
      If you get high you'll end up being a completely new person. So many deep thought will come through ur mind if you already are a deep thinker.

    Things which I learned after watching this video:
    1) toughness is about enduring pressure.
    Enduring pressure means to make the right decision in a tough position and stick to it to the very end.
    2) Enduring pressure by making right decisions in a tough spot doesn't guarantee that you are going to win every time, but you will surprise yourself and you will be more ready to handle the next challenge.
    3) Enduring physical pain is also one kind of mental toughness, which is the most highlighted one in this regard.
    4) Not showing pain is also a sign of mental toughness.
    Conclusion: It's all about a mentality of "just a little bit more" keeping saying it and pushing yourself is the key to success ultimately.

      Not necessarily. People with ADHD lack the senses of urgency needed to pull that source of will. Urgency is the antidote to pain and misery of mismanaging your responsibilities. Certain people can’t build strength of will, they can only direct their mind toward that which helps them maintain their responsibilities without the human drive of will being present. Achieving mental toughness for me was having a very strict Father with a IQ. Close to 200 ! Going through Basic training was shocking to see how many people broke down. I did everything not to laugh out loud a lot . That made me realize how much my father had prepared me .Instead of laughing I would give them guidance and support !

Because, challenges are truly all a test of our character and how we CHOOSE to deal with them either strengthens or weakens our character going forward. WE CAN CHOOSE TO BE BITTER OR WORK OUR TAILS OFF TO BE BETTER. Thank you for this reminder PBD.

    Marine Corps boot camp and being a Fleet deployed Marine gave me the experience in being pushed as close to death as one could be and surviving. I remember taking a Marine Scuba class in Okinawa. Day one, the instructor: "You will drown in the class or you will fail" ...we had to experience what it would be like to drown, and be comfortable with it...An experience I will never forget. I was in a situation where I recently resigned from my Exco position and stood up to a Board... and I lost because of their powerful relationships and corruption. It was hard, but I didn’t back down and stood by my beliefs. Though I didn’t get the result I wanted, the company’s DNA was shown to many stakeholders through their cold and deceitful public responses and people have thanked me for being their voice. Patrick, you helped me realize so much in this video. I am grateful!
