    The new Mazda CX-60 e-Skyactiv PHEV is the most powerful road vehicle Mazda has ever built. The plug-in hybrid drive system consisting of a 2.5-liter Skyactiv G in-line four-cylinder petrol engine with 141 kW/191 hp and a 129 kW/175 hp electric motor develops a system output of 241 kW/327 hp and a generous maximum system torque of 500 Nm. The 355-volt battery has a capacity of 17.8 kWh, enables an all-electric range of 63 kilometers (according to WLTP) and contributes to the safe and confident driving characteristics thanks to its low placement in the vehicle structure. The maximum speed in purely electric drive mode is an impressive 140 km/h.
    The battery can be charged on an 11 kW AC wall box via the two-phase on-board AC charger with a maximum charging capacity of 7.2 kW. Fuel consumption in the combined WLTP cycle is 1.5 liters per 100 kilometers, which corresponds to CO 2 emissions of 33 g/km.
    New and further developed technologies intensify the connection between driver and vehicle, which Mazda describes with the term Jinba Ittai. One example of this is the new Driver Personalization System: It uses a camera to recognize the position of the eye and, after entering the body size, automatically adjusts the surroundings - seating position, steering wheel, exterior mirrors and head-up display. In addition, previously saved personalized settings, including sound and climate settings, can be called up automatically with the system.
    Other technological highlights of the Mazda CX-60 are the Mazda driving mode switch Mi-Drive (Mazda Intelligent Drive Select) with five driving modes including the all-electric EV mode, the next-generation 360° monitor with see-through view for an extended field of vision, an exit warning for road users approaching from behind (BSM Vehicle Exit Warning) and the Kinematic Posture Control (KPC) - a unique driving stability system that minimizes rolling movements in curves.
    Even in the basic Prime-line version (from 47,390 euros), the Mazda CX-60 e-Skyactiv PHEV AWD has, among other things, two-zone automatic air conditioning, Mazda Connect with a high-resolution 12.3-inch color display, digital radio (DAB+), digital instrument cluster with 12.3-inch color display, Mazda SD navigation system and wireless smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay™ or Android Auto™, full LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and taillights and rear parking assistance. The emergency brake assistant (SBS) with pedestrian and cyclist recognition and a new intersection function is standard, as is a lane departure warning system with steering assistance (ELK), lane change assistant plus (BSM) with steering intervention, drowsiness detection (DAA), traffic sign recognition and the new exit warning (BSM Vehicle Exit). Warning).
    The Mazda CX-60 is the first of two new crossover models based on a new "large platform" architecture to be launched in Europe over the next two years. As a plug-in hybrid drive, the Mazda CX-60 e-Skyactiv PHEV is an important part of Mazda's multi-solution strategy for sustainable mobility. This follows the principle that there is a suitable drive solution for different applications. With the Mazda CX-60 e-Skyactiv PHEV, Mazda is taking another important step in the electrification of its model and drive range.

    It's not simulating gear changes the electric motor is in-between the petrol engine and the gearbox so it is actually changing gears just like a normal car...

    11:45 Gear change is not simulated in EV mode. The electric motor is actually inline between the engine and gearbox, so it's actually changing gears even in EV mode.

    I remember when I got my 2018 CX9, I became pretty muscular. Mazda’s will work your arms out. But gives you a sense of wanting to hold the wheel and connect with the car. The wheel also isn’t heavy at high speed.

    One advice for safer and more comfortable driving; you are seating way too far back. Perfect position is when you put your hand over the top of the steering wheel fully stretched and your wrist is resting on the steering wheel. That is the ultimate driving position. Thought by the professional racing driver/instructor.

    My friend , althogh your videos are nice, nevertheless you dont provide people with important info about the cars. In a good and full review/test you should take the care to hills to test how it turns in corners, to highway to see top speed, stability in high speeds, noise in the cabin and real consumption. To refer to manufacturer figures does not mean a test!!

    The electric motor runs through the gearbox, it’s not simulating a gear change it is changing gear.

    I want to buy a new car (in the next 2-4 years). I dont know if I should buy the plug-in hybrid, the CX-60, or wait for the petrol/diesel engine for the CX-60.What do you think?

      This is their first time doing a serious PHEV product. Their diesel engines are not super reliable too. Therefore, I would say wait for the inline 6 petrol.👍🏻

      ​@@kasjanek24 Bit less My local dealer (UK) had vehicles coming into the network that they could deliver in a month or so. If you wanted a specific specification (factory build) then it was 4 - 5 months. Ordered mine 2 weeks ago it's due next Jan / Feb
