The new Mazda CX-60 e-Skyactiv PHEV is the most powerful road vehicle Mazda has ever built. The plug-in hybrid drive system consisting of a 2.5-liter Skyactiv G in-line four-cylinder petrol engine with 141 kW/191 hp and a 129 kW/175 hp electric motor develops a system output of 241 kW/327 hp and a generous maximum system torque of 500 Nm. The 355-volt battery has a capacity of 17.8 kWh, enables an all-electric range of 63 kilometers (according to WLTP) and contributes to the safe and confident driving characteristics thanks to its low placement in the vehicle structure. The maximum speed in purely electric drive mode is an impressive 140 km/h.
The battery can be charged on an 11 kW AC wall box via the two-phase on-board AC charger with a maximum charging capacity of 7.2 kW. Fuel consumption in the combined WLTP cycle is 1.5 liters per 100 kilometers, which corresponds to CO 2 emissions of 33 g/km.
New and further developed technologies intensify the connection between driver and vehicle, which Mazda describes with the term Jinba Ittai. One example of this is the new Driver Personalization System: It uses a camera to recognize the position of the eye and, after entering the body size, automatically adjusts the surroundings - seating position, steering wheel, exterior mirrors and head-up display. In addition, previously saved personalized settings, including sound and climate settings, can be called up automatically with the system.
Other technological highlights of the Mazda CX-60 are the Mazda driving mode switch Mi-Drive (Mazda Intelligent Drive Select) with five driving modes including the all-electric EV mode, the next-generation 360° monitor with see-through view for an extended field of vision, an exit warning for road users approaching from behind (BSM Vehicle Exit Warning) and the Kinematic Posture Control (KPC) - a unique driving stability system that minimizes rolling movements in curves.
Even in the basic Prime-line version (from 47,390 euros), the Mazda CX-60 e-Skyactiv PHEV AWD has, among other things, two-zone automatic air conditioning, Mazda Connect with a high-resolution 12.3-inch color display, digital radio (DAB+), digital instrument cluster with 12.3-inch color display, Mazda SD navigation system and wireless smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay™ or Android Auto™, full LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and taillights and rear parking assistance. The emergency brake assistant (SBS) with pedestrian and cyclist recognition and a new intersection function is standard, as is a lane departure warning system with steering assistance (ELK), lane change assistant plus (BSM) with steering intervention, drowsiness detection (DAA), traffic sign recognition and the new exit warning (BSM Vehicle Exit). Warning).
The Mazda CX-60 is the first of two new crossover models based on a new "large platform" architecture to be launched in Europe over the next two years. As a plug-in hybrid drive, the Mazda CX-60 e-Skyactiv PHEV is an important part of Mazda's multi-solution strategy for sustainable mobility. This follows the principle that there is a suitable drive solution for different applications. With the Mazda CX-60 e-Skyactiv PHEV, Mazda is taking another important step in the electrification of its model and drive range.

Leider sind die Preisunterschiede im Vergleich zu Deutschland schon echt krass. Wenn sich die Preise etwas angleichen, würde ich meinen hier in der Schweiz kaufen, ansonsten kaufe ich ihn bei Mazda Deutschland.

I drove the car 1 week ago...feels heavy on corners and in the city, the brake pedal is strange and pretty hard to push..my ds7 hybrid is much better to drive and the interior also

I drove this car. I wasn't impressed! Interior is nice but the seats are small and the interior space is small in general for a 4.74 m long car. At exterior it copies the Jaguar F-pace a lot!

$70,000 for a mazda ? Sorry but for that price I can get better options with the luxury brands
Here in Switzerland and for a brand new Phev SUV, this CX60 is not bad priced. Audi Q5 will cost at least 10000$ / Swiss francs more for same specs!

If Mazda wants to go premium they will have to rebrand/create a subsidiary. Like Toyota and Lexus. People are not going to associate Mazda with luxury when they sell the Mazda 2, cx 3, etc.
What Mazda are currently doing for their SUV’s is single digit means main stream and double digits means premium. Don’t believe that is going to work.
@@cityplanner3063 100 percent agree. The problem is that Mazda is not a big enough Car Company to have a subsidiary Luxury brand . Mazda as a company is more like a bistro with a small modest menu as opposed to larger car companies who are large restaurants with full menus.

Unfortunately the CX-60 for me has been very disappointing so far, I bought a top of the range 3.3l petrol in December 2023, noisy, rattly, boot lid loose, drive recognition doesn't work, steamed up windows after being left parked, overly aggressive lane assist is dangerous and cannot be fully disabled. I'm still fighting various rattles in the car and it's quite annoying. Doors feel like cardboard when you close them, I also have a CX5 which is built like a tank compared to the 60. It's just not a luxury car.
