I have been following Andrea and the rest of Joan's students for the past four years with great interest and enthusiasm!! We here in San Antonio, Texas, USA wish we could see them in a live concert in this part of the world.
Andrea's evolution through the years is incredible! I'm a singer/trumpet player as well and she's such an inspiration!

Her phrasing on the horn is like all those great jazz players going all the way back to the 50's.

I can hear all the greats..buck clayton, sweets edison, chet baker, art farmer and most importantly herself. Love the deep mid-tones she gets from her special silver and gold bach stradavarius trumpet !!!

It seems to be an on and-off-again ring. I saw her before the performance at Stanford and she wasn't wearing it. But she wore it on stage. Someone suggested that in different countries rings signify different things. Haven't seen any evidence of a husband but don't really know.

I wonder if Andrea had any idea that she was or about to become pregnant with her first child. As I write this in 2024, she has had an amazing 5 or so years. Such a great band to be playing with too.

Andrea canta bonito pero parece increíble que después de tantos años no haya dominado el instrumento, desafina bastante, toca muy flojo y esto es muy desagradable.

Ostras, pero si es la reencarnación de chet baker pero mejor afinada!. Debes ir a hacerte una audiometría. A mi madre le pasó, mi madre me decía que barenboim no afinaba el piano últimamente y desgraciadamente es que estaba perdiendo audición. Sinceramente háztelo mirar. Más quisiera yo, que he superado el medio siglo, afinar como esta chica.
