    Grest review. You covered all the important info and give us a good summary of what it was like. Seems like a nice axe, but not something I would be looking to get for myself, so I was able to not worry about the details and just enjoy listening to you play.

    I have one. I switched out the pups for Seymour Duncan '59s. I can only echo the praise for the guitar. I also have a Crossroads 35 AV. Far better than Epiphones or Ibanezes.

    Amazing guitar, love the white binding. It is a classic design but different enough to justify over a Gibson or any other LP. And I mean look at the spalted flame maple top . Great review, well detailed and straight to the point. the background is looking good. Do you think this guitar would do a good Black Keys tone?

    • @KrenarCilkuGuitar
      @KrenarCilkuGuitar  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much buddy! Yeah, the top on it steals the show, just gorgeous! I'm pretty sure that the bridge pickup will nail some great Black Keys tones! Cheers man, stay safe!!

  • @357jazzman
    @357jazzman 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Krenar, thank you for the review . I am very interested but worried about the neck size. How would you compare it to the say classic vibe neck ( slim C) you reviewed on your channel . Thank you and good luck with growing your channel . Best

    • @KrenarCilkuGuitar
      @KrenarCilkuGuitar  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for the kind words! The neck on the Marquee is considerably thicker than the classic vibe neck. It's more of a 59 Les Paul thickness with a C shape. I hope this is helpful, cheers!

    • @357jazzman
      @357jazzman 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@KrenarCilkuGuitar thanks. That's my downside for this guitar I am interested in buying after seeing your review. Are the edges on the marquee rolled and is the neck also much wider that on the classic vibe tele ?

    • @KrenarCilkuGuitar
      @KrenarCilkuGuitar  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@357jazzman the edges are slightly rolled making it feel played in. The fretboard and string spacing are not wider than the CV, it's just the thickness on the back of the neck that makes it totally different to the CV. Personally, I never found it difficult to adjust to the differences.

      @KrenarCilkuGuitar  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much Jack, I appreciate it!
      I'm actually way more into 335's than you would think. Hahaha.. In fact, 335's are my favorite guitars. I used to own an Epiphone Dot but I had to sell it to fund for my tele since I didn't have any guitars with single coils. I would love to check out the Stanford CR Thinline 35 and the CR Thinline 30! If I do, I'll let you know, for sure! Cheers and stay safe my friend!

    Since I‘m a proud Maybach owner and by now a die hard fan boy, I‘ll get one like that as a „take me everywhere and beat me up“-guitar.
    This way, I can have something that feels nearly like home when sitting drunk as drunk could be on a festival camp ground without the constant fear of damaging or losing it.
    It‘s Maybach‘s „Epiphone“ if you will.
    It could use trapezoid inlays though…

    • @KrenarCilkuGuitar
      @KrenarCilkuGuitar  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey man, congrats on the Maybach, they are killer guitars!
      I could definitely recommend the Stanford for that purpose, it's hard to beat!
      There's this company in Germany called Fretlook, they make custom inlays,give them a shout. Cheers!

      @@KrenarCilkuGuitar Hey my friend, thank you very much and you‘re completely right. They truly are special instruments. I fell in love on the first chord (which just wouldn’t stop ringing). It was a match made in heaven. And with the Amber pickups, there‘s almost nothing they wouldn‘t handle. You can throw any genre at them and they gladly perform like hell. Aren‘t those fret look thingys stickers?
