I know that these are half the price of Novo guitars, which it seems to be based of. Would you say this guitar could somehow compete with Novo or the Rivolta subgroup?

I've probably had about ten other practice amps and while I've liked something about them all, I think the ac10 is best for home use. The cleans are freaking amazing, and you can, with some work, get some great overdrive tones too.

Very good review Krenar... I am thinking of buying one of these guitars and actually was wondering if it would be any good for fingerstyle melodic work like Martin Taylor as well as a bit of blues. I think you have answered my question. I love your atmospheric laid back playing style and the humbucker neck pickup on the guitar sounds very cool indeed. Don't listen to this man, with an MG30 you can do the same thing as with the Helix, The sound is also very similar, you just have to spend time setting it up

Unbelievable they made something like this but don't let you use more than 1 effect at the same time. Those little zoom pedals are much cheaper and much more useful. I see almost no use for this hx one.

Lovely playing. I have a sparkly offset Ibanez with p90s and a hollowbody Ibanez, both are awesome guitars. The only criticism I have of Ibanez are their weirdly voiced pickups but the mini-humbuckers on your guitar sound very good.

Just got a gold burst T484 from Sweetwater a few days ago and I can wholeheartedly say that the hype about them is real. I have a number of Gibson USA guitars and a Heritage, and while they are very nice instruments (haven’t tried a Gibson Custom Shop yet), the Eastman is without a doubt the most perfectly crafted guitar I have personally owned and the setup out of the box is spot on. The case is one of the nicest I’ve seen, too. I love my Epiphone ES339, but the Eastman T484 is on a whole other level. It’s definitely a long term keeper. Might have to check out an SB56 or SB59 some time.

I have one on the way! I mainly use a Blackstar HT-20 combo, which sounds awesome, but my buddies and I are playing somewhere that just wants a very simple setup directly into the PA so this should be great. I’m also super curious to see how this pedal sounds running into the Blackstar. Beautiful playing, too!

Krenar, love your videos man. I've saw your video about the HX stomp some time ago and actually I've bought one for me as well. I've been looking for the Tonex one nowadays. What can you say about the sound of the tonex compared with the line 6 amps? I've tried the Tonex plugin and found that the sound is more "organic". What do you think? Greetings from Brazil!
