My tip is you can physically feel where your neck and face connect. Simply run your finger straight down or open your hand and pat the underside of your face, where the neck meets the head. And there is your line.

I'm 23 and my facial hair grows very well on my moustache and chin but my soul patch is quite patchy. I can grow hair on my cheeks but it will take a long time to grow. It has only been 3 weeks so I might commit to it

It’s in a much smaller sized tin than yours and it’s so hard, the best I can do is run my finger around the top of it and it makes my finger a little wet. But I don’t get anywhere near as much as you do out of the tin. Yours looks softer, almost like a thick lotion.
You purchased a balm that has much more wax in it then the one Carlos is using. Unfortunately the beard industry doesn't have a standard for balms vs butters and stuff. Basically if you want it to be like Carlos' balm you will need to look for a balm that has wax lower on the list of ingredients or no wax at all.
Beardbrand’s Utility Balm has beeswax as last ingredient, which makes it more like a butter. There are no standards for the terms. Butters moisturize and nourish, balms hold or style a beard. Scraping the product with the back of your nail works well for any balm or butter.

Love the channel and beard community but man beard videos are becoming super redundant. All the points have been said a million times in a million videos. Perhaps Beard brand can try something new? Vlogs maybe? Personally I'm not much of a fan but I know people love that sort of stuff. These beard channels are dying because everything that gets posted is just old recycled material that's been done millions of times.
I suppose they would argue that they aren’t redundant in a business sense because there’s always new guys to expose these recycled ideas to by hitting the algorithm with these same videos month after month. But as a community of people that have been here for awhile yeah it’s definitely getting old.

It is for the skin under the beard and moustache. For a lot of people the skin gets dry, that is why you use it. The different smells are just a bonus :) In a 2 month beard or longer beard oil is better than using perfume on your neck/throat.

My issue is as I clean it up once or twice a week I eventually take it too far up my neck and shave it off completely to start over again

@@mikew4022 I use it instead of cologne. It's a heck of a lot cheaper and the scent from beard oil often lasts longer.
