Hey I have a 2005 TL rebuilt the transmission in December of 2021 and just today my car went into limp mode. It would downshift hard then go into limp mode checked the OBD2 and got a code for the throttle position sensor as well as the accelerator pedal position sensor. I noticed in your video that you said it was a rebuild of the TPS and APP are they the same sensor ?
MY 2007 accord goes into what seems like limp mode at around 2500-3000 rpm . Engine starts to rev up and down causing the car to "Buck". Would this be the same sensor ?
Would a bad sensor cause the throttle not to move? Car idles but when you use the gas it sounds like it bogs a little and never increases rpm, I took off intake and I watch as gas is pressed and it does not move but will move if you physically move the throttle blade.
That’s what I was thinking, I got it from a pick n pull so it wouldn’t surprise me if it didn’t work it’s probably been there awhile. I’ll just run down and test a few since they’re cheap and see if anything changes. Thank you.
Hey man my tl is having serious problem of not starting no crank no click and also dash light won’t turn on except the headlight turn on plus interior lights,and welcome chimes only imbolizer light comes on.check the alternator is powering the battery full power you think what it could be I have 07 tl base
MODS FOREVER I can’t also get my ob2 to read car it’s all blank , no lights on dash , no check engine light . Also check the fuel pump relay has power ?
I have a question about Acura TL 2007 base model , when driving the front end driver side has a clunking everytime driving over a bump or just ruff roads . Any idea ?
Hey man love the videos but I have a question, I believe my first gear in my 5-speed auto is gone. I lost it when I got home the other day. In drive it won’t move at all just revs, reverse it moves and low gear it moves. In manual mode 1st gear won’t move but if I make it go to second it’ll drive fine up til 5th gear no issue but no first. What could be it is the tranny just done for?

sounds like the main relay.

prob lower control arm or ball joint i would get that checked and fixed asap.

Trans mount or upper strut mount might be a possibility (the stabilizer links can clunk also if they get worn out)

yup
You can re-learn. Or with ignition on (don’t start car) depress accelerator pedal and in 10 seconds let go of pedal.
Is this necessary to replace after any certain amount of miles on 3erd gen tl and does it add any performance or any benefits
yup i would replace it cause it will go out they all do and replace it def makes a diffrence makes the throttle response butter smooth.

Hesitation and slow throttle response.
My TL having issues going pass 3k rpm i chnaged both speed sensors cuz i had a code for one i guess im gonna change this part
