I have a 2008 Acura TL...driving the other day and all of a sudden engine rpm started going up and down...limped home and at idle rpm fluctuating up and down..my scanner is reading 3 different codes...one being p0108 map sensor...could the map sensor cause other codes to trip...and car was hard to stop??
I cleaned the throttle body on my 2008 tl. I slowly opened the valve with a screwdriver to clean the inside. I tried the idle relearn several times but idle will not adjust. I'm having trouble holding the accelerator pedal steady till the fan kicks on, Is there an easier way to hold it at 3000? Also I can't hear when the fan kicks on when the idle is at the 3000 rpm's.
I did the idle relearn on my 2000 acura tl and it fixed the idle surge (up and down revving). Once you hold the rpm as steady as you can to 3000 rpm the car will automatically accelerate or decelerate closer to 3000 rpm. TH-cam channel (mods forever) has a step by step video if it further helps.
The kilo Kilopascal measures pressure, the Volts he’s reading with the multimeter is for the power for the sensor that receives from the battery to operate
I need help guys I replaced both ECTs sensors Acura RL 05 before I replaced them fans were fine now with the new Ects don't turn on but my dash temp gauge stays at normal temp I'm confused
are you getting an actual DTC code or you feell the engine is misfiring and shaking from unmetered air ie. a "vaccum leak". If over 110kMi concider replacing you leaky PCV unless a bad valve adjustment left the intake plenum with leak
It's incredibly difficult to find anything not made in China. Recently installed Bosch rotors and Brembo pads - both made in China. It's all about maximizing profits.
Scanner and multimeter manufactured under the same standard as done in USA, how are these tools not reliable if made in China? besides, they are not that high-tech to make.
Nice demo, should be helpful to many DIY'ers.
i had a question. my check engine light turned on and it came up as "fuel to rich". any ideas what can cause that??

Sir on my 2002 Honda Accord v6 it said 27.0 - 29.0 Kpa does that mean the sensor is still good ? Please let me know thank you .
Thank you for pouring out videos on Acura TL 3rd gen this will be so much help when I get mines
So rats ate the wires for the map sensor do you have a video on how to replace them if not could you help me out please.
Helpful, thanks.
BTW. Volts is potential, amps is current. Power is watts
Tengo problemas con ese sensor solo quiero preguntarle si ay que reservarlo después de ponerlo

Thanks I will get that scan tool for sure.
If i get 108 code then just replacement should help?
What is the oem part number for these sensor.

early on you mentioned P0107 as the error measuring kilopascals, then on the volts test you said p0107 is error measuring voltage....

Interesting video 👍
End wen the P0107 make 3.71 or 3.79?
You can jut disconnect the harness when the car is running. If there's no change, your current isn't making it to the sensor.
This is whats happening to my car, what can I do about this?
whats that sqeaking sound?? i have it on my Tl and idk where its coming from
Nice ´bro thank you , vere good worek
good job!!!
I can't get rid of the codes. They stay on
Can it keep it from starting ?
no, I have this code u0107 and I can still start my car just fine

I changed also the map and the intake sensor bc of the codes, my last code was the radiator switch sensor got replaced now no Fans =(
hi have acura tl 2005 have misfire on all cilender so what you think is the problem the map sensor
p301-p306?

Your fuel pressure regulator and rail damper has failed fuel is at 40 psi should be 26 dumping fuel! Causing misfire and poor acceration !
youre a boss player
Airflow meter Honda Acura mdx 2000 consume fuel, just show the normal code number of the airflow meter
What if mind is reading 0
Was your scanner & multi meter made in China .?.You know who will not be pleased if it was. Thanks for the vid ..interesting.
