One of my personal favorite mods is the well digging mod. While it's use is limited in urban areas, it's perfect for building a base in the woods or rural areas that don't have a nearby water source.

something to note about brita's weapons is that for some reason when trying to use suppressors (im pretty sure from the seperate mod of improvised silencers) a large portion of the weapons that you can put a suppressor on just refuse to actually be silenced properly making the suppressor a cosmetic attachment in those cases
on top of that i've personally found the armor added a bit overwhelming and annoying at times for very niche reasons and issues but mostly just because the sheer abundance ends up lessening the spawn rates of some items and it seems to be random when it does this
so for that reason i've just settled with the vanilla firearms expansion which is also a really nice weapons addition mod that just expands upon and subtly remodels and restructures the already available weapons whilst remaining very faithful to the game as a whole and seems to be also more compatible with the other mods i use
altho i've also noticed that you no longer start with the ability to attached the good suppressors to weapons if you start out with them from using the insurgent start traits from the insurgent profession mod (covert trait)
it could very well just be that those starter ones are bugged and only the crafted version of them is useable

I was looking for some inspiration for some mods for my friend group and this one hit all the boxes I needed! However I do think that a mod that is very useful and satisfying when mowing down zombies is the "Advanced Trajectory" mod which allows you to actually hit something with the m9. It is both OP yet Balanced as when you level up your aiming you can shoot further and still hit zombies. Anyways, Great video and im looking forward to some more PZ!

The fact that Britas weapons pack also includes bows and crossbows, scratch that, excellently implemented bows and crossbows, is so good, fully silent, still deadly, more common and still just as fun

If you want all that in 1 mod i suggest "snake's mod pack" altough its a spanish mod it adds : a new city next to riverside, gun attachments (for vanilla), easter eggs, other buildings and lots of other things

I'd love to see you do a deep dive/guide on that mega map expansion project.
another helpful thing I wish somebody would do is a "how to" on using the multiplayer screen options and join a server. i want to play with other people, but the screen doesn't give a lot of info and and I don't even know how to find the servers I want to join, and discord communities haven't been helpful in this regard. I just find the idea of "experimenting" with it daunting because I have no frame of reference with it, and most "modern" multiplayer games that I play have inbuilt automation for a lot of it, while PZ's multiplayer screens give me flashbacks of needing to write down a friends' IP so we could play Warcraft 2 over a dial-up connection...

i recomend using this mod together with Vanilla Vehicle Enhancer. which changes the vanilla car textures with Filibuster used cars like textures to fit more with the mods.

need the lifestyle: hobbies mod. makes all the lootable instruments become playable. approx 500 different music tracks too learn and play as you level up your new music skill, with many many many instruments. dont know how the keytar, electric guitar/bass can play with no power, or any form of amp though. but they do. breaks up the monotany, very well.

You right click them in your inventory and then click "place" and from there you can use your mouse to place it in the world and hold "R" to rotate it or "shift+R" for the opposite way

Even though i only had 1 playthrough with it, i really recommend the superb survivors mod. Pretty self explainatory. It can add so much more to the story of how you died, by seeing your comrades be shreded to pieces, or having a bbq with NPCs. Perfect mod if you have no friends who want to play something diffrent than roblox bruh.

My random recommendation if its not in this video (cant watch all now, may do so later), Immersive medicine (makes being a doctor actually useful), and brutal handwork (adds animations for ceratin actions, you can have dual wield and best part? You can punch zombies hah.

Brita's Armor pack is incredibly OP and THREE GIGABYTES. bruh...
Made my own personal singleplayer edit of it, most of the armors completely outclass everything in vanilla anymore as well as getting the file size down to 400 Mb and looking visually EXACTLY THE SAME.

You are able to use all of them simultaneously! I have not noticed any car mods overpowering each other in my playthroughs!

You can add mods to an existing game! However, for any mod that adds a vehicle or item to find in game, the only way youll be able to obtain them legitimately is by going somewhere in your world that you havent loaded in yet so the new stuff can spawn in. Also, unfortunately you cant add map mods mid-game! Also, if you want to make a server with the map mods that is totally doable! Thank you for your support and feedback!

I've got over 4k in PZ, I endorse every mod shown. As always, obviously play without mods first, get a taste for the flavour of how the devs wanted it to feel. Once you're comfortable with the game and it's mechanics *then* download each and every mod you want!
Very good video! Now I don't mean any offense, but it does feel like you just looked at the first few pages on The Workshop's "Top Rated All Time" section and decided to just talk about them instead of digging, meaning this video doesn't stand out from the other 500+ "Try these mods" videos.
I'm not trying to be a dick, everything else about the video is really good, this is just criticism for future videos, that's all. Because anyone who plays PZ has a 99% chance of already knowing about these mods.
I only say this because it would be cool to see your channel go further!

I appreciate the feedback! I understand that the mods I featured are very well known and that it may be more interesting to look at lesser-known mods but the ones I chose are mods that I genuinely use and endorse! The video is targeted at the absolute beginner who has never tried modding the game before and is just curious about the basic options out there. I know other channels probably covered these mods a bunch of times but I just wanted to put my own take on it! I myself am admittedly somewhat new to the modding scene in this game as well so these are just the ones I found to be fun so far. I genuinely appreciate the support and constrictive criticism! I'm already planning on making a lot more mod videos that arent so much surface-level knowledge!

i cant recommend bedford falls. the first time i spawned there i found several buildings (including the mansion) had doors built into brick walls you couldnt walk through, staircases sealed behind walls and more. it looks cool until you actually find errors like that which completely break your immersion in the world. i wont be adding it in again. i'd recommend chestown instead. raven creek is insane tho

I love Brita's weapon pack, but I tend to stay away from this mod, as I also love how hard project zomboid can be with a few guns and barely any ammo. The problem is with Brita's weapon pack, if you were to set the gun rarity to it's lowest, you'll still find a lot of small town residents packing heat like if it was set in Texas

My friends and I kinda struck a balance with Brita's by playing with the Horde Night mod. We have a reason to save all our ammo cus every few days with have a 200+ zombie horde that attacks us, and we have a rule where if all of us die during a horde night we officially "Lose". We once got caught very unprepared while in the field and away from base, all very tired and low on ammo. I dont even know how we made it tbh but somehow with only 2 boxes of shotgun shells between us and a couple 9mms we survived

@@jordansautier5178 you gotta apply it to the server before starting it. Once you spaen in, all loot spawns and adding something that changes the loot doesn't take effect if all the loot already spawned in

@@jordansautier5178 a quick test to do is spawn at rosewood and break into the police station. If you don't spawn with a key to the armory just get a screwdriver and hammer.from the firestation next door to break the doors down and use it as a test to see if it works.

7:30 "Upper left", That's just the left corner of the map. If we go by cardinal directions, then it's in the south-west corner of the map, considering the Ohio River flows along the north of the map.

Thank you for the support! For the RV interior mod, zombies cannot break in and get you while you're in the RV. The mod doesn't let you actually enter the interior unless there are no zombies around!

The VR interior teleport’s you to a room to the bottom south east of the map. That’s also how the basements work
