Fantastic! I found an empty antique desk clock that I turned into a fortune tellers booth with a needle felted octopus as The Fortune teller! So much fun! Love all the details!
I stumbled upon your channel yesterday and you've completely hooked me. I watched your antique clock library, then today I watched your treehole faerie home. Seeing your videos makes my heart happy! Thank you Thank you thank you! 💚💚💚
This is one of my favourite things you two have made 😊 A little post office or sweet shop would be a cool idea! It's brilliant watching you both craft as you're still kids at heart!
Absolutely splendid ladies! I love this clock room so much! You two are so full of wonderful ideas. I've decided to follow your lead. I'm 70 and have recently decided to get out my old 8" Madame Alexander & Vogue dolls and their Strombecker furniture recreating their dolls house. It's a lot larger scale but it special because it's toys I played with for years. 💜🧡💜 🇺🇸
I loved this so much. Thank you for reawakening my love for minis. I lost my Mom this year, she was only 53 and my best friend. Your Mom/Daughter relationship is so sweet to watch. You two are both blessed and a blessing. 💜
Omg! That was the best thing since sliced bread! I watched it twice, then showed my husband! I shall be on the lookout for old clocks now! Thank you so much. It was very entertaining.xx
A very brilliant idea, I would have never thought of using an empty clock. It is so beautiful, I love it. I can't wait to see the other empty clock projects 💕
Love this! Beautiful! I have 2 slightly bigger(longer, wall clocks) I bought at a thrift store. I’m working on one now - it’s a mouse residence. The very top floor is where their clock repair shop is! So, I’ve been finding as many non-working wristwatches as possible at thrift stores, removing the bands and using the remainders as clocks-in-need-of-repair! It’s delightfully fun!
I suffer from anxiety! Whenever I get anxiety I watch your sows and my anxiety goes away! So thank you for helping me. This clock library is so cool! Very creative! You both are very creative! I really enjoy seeing what you make and love watching your mudlarking shows!
Well ladies, now you’ve gone and done it. Everyone is going to want to see a whole lot more of this magic of yours! This is what might be called Assemblage Art. Which I absolutely adore! I’ve done some tiny bits and pieces over the years and now that I’ve seen this little wonder, my next stop will be to haunt the local flea markets on the hunt for clock and radio cases! Spectacular work! Do it again! And again! And again! We can’t get enough of what you do so incredibly well. Waiting your next project with baited breath!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!
I always get so happy when I turn the tv on TH-cam and find a new mini video from you. It’s my favorite treat. This one is especially wonderful and timely for me! ❤❤❤ You made my day!!!
I’m always amazed with the end results of your collaborations! My doubts always resolve into “Wow! That looks really great!” as you always seem able to turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse!
Thoroughly enchanting, ladies!!! You are so meticulous and brilliant!! Love love LOVE this creation! Congratulations to you both on such an incredible work of art! And Kate’s photo as a little girl is SO precious!! 💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝
I absolutely love watching you two, I love your authentic charm. I'd love to hang out with you guys and make up an old radio into a saloon or something. Keep making your videos! thanks u. Melanie Q, Salisbury, Ma USA
That was genius using the chime from the clock for the light fixture. Love the way the books turned out. I am working on a book nook that will be a library and there is just something about holding a handful of miniature “old” books in your hand.
Why isn't this channel at 100k yet? One of the most interesting, fun and creative miniatures channels on TH-cam. I love using clock cases for dioramas and assemblage. This is wonderful. Makes me want to make a library. And oh! I'm working on a borrower's house right now! So eager to see your tr ake on one.
Well done, such imagination, I love it all but especially the door, so clever to introduce the mystery of what else lies behind the library. Looking forward to what you create next - what a great team you are.
What a lovely idea to use an old clock. A little miniature story told using bits and pieces. You certainly have a knack for putting those odds and ends together in enchanting ways 😊 Can’t wait to see what you do with the other clocks 🕰️
This reminds me of the narrow tall apartments in New York City that they furnish with used things and go up high to not waste space. It ends up functional and beautiful, one of a kind. Great job reusing clock case!
Holy cow you guys!!! Evwry good word, every good thought... Just...ALLLL GOOD THINGS that I can't think of right now should be given. I mean, COME ONNNNN, this is the library of my dreams, this is the "established" library of an esteemed professor...or of a learned grandfather!!! Thank you so much for bringing this library to life for us!!! XOXO
Oh my gosh!! Absolutely fantastic! You imagination and attention to detail had me so excited watching this take shape..A borrowers house will be sooo wonderful..the joy you bring is sooo special..Love how you craft together..and your lovely, colorful paint bowl! Thank you for everything you share!
Absolutely the best 45 minutes I've spent this week! My mind is swimming with ideas!! Off to my workroom to gather bits and bobs. I have several old antique desk drawers that need a home❤
Just loved this, there is nothing like old wood to mess around with and the clocks are just perfect. Kept thinking there would be a mouse or two to ‘ run up the clock’. Can’t wait for your next creation.
I haven't even finished watching it yet, but in the inimitable words of Kate, "ooooh, I'm so excited!!!"... It's going to be lovely, I know, and I bet this will become my new favourite video to rewatch dozens of times - as with all your videos! Thank you for posting and sharing! kindest regards, k
This flitted across my TH-cam recommended section … so glad it did. This is just lovely. Some of the bits of waste gold leaf could be applied to the books. I like that you found a place for the one piece of clock mechanism.
Just watched for the third time, you’re better than any medicine. I’ve had some sad news and added to that feel a bit under the weather but watching you build such a detailed peaceful and delightful work of art makes me feel so calm. So thank you both for giving so much pleasure.
Your clock library turned out wonderful!! I love all the little corners on it! What a clever idea to use a old clock. I can't wait to see what you do with the other clocks! ❤
Pure magic! I love it! 💕 I can imagine the Borrowers or the Littles live here. And the melody of the piano rift playing in the background was like a movie soundtrack. ⭐️
Marvellous, so incredibly creative and clever of you both. The books look very realistic.. the whole cosy space is so sweet and very illustrative of your personalities…love it💕
How fun. You folks in GB seem much happier, calmer, more optomistic, more like the real life that I recall as an American child in the 50s and 60s. Everyone here, kids too, are stressed, hyper, running, no hand work crafts and such, just do, do, do. Video games, phones, cars, hustle. And so much drugs and sx. No kids do wood work, craft, garden😢 Love to watch you life a true life‼❤
My high school ended up getting rid of most of its tradecraft classes for "budgetary reasons." (Found out when I returned as a substitute) Everything now is teaching to the standardized tests or prepping for college/tech school. My younger siblings were too busy with homework, most of the time, to even socialize. Nothing but training to push them out into the working world where they have to work multiple jobs just to pay rent, even with roommates.
I whole heartily agree…..As a child I drew or created little rooms from bits and pieces, so watching you is very fun for me and sparking ideas for me….
It's sad. many wish we could do more woodwork and handmade crafts. It's simply not possible for the average person anymore due to the cost of living. For many to eat a meal every day and have a roof over your head you need to be working full time, and work has only gotten more intense and strict as time has gone by.
@@faroshscaleI think you’re missing the point which for me is that the world is full of noise; many fail to slow down and see the beauty around them without filling it constantly with modern tech. Children are most definitely becoming dopamine addicts; and they’re surrounded by messages 24/7 of how to behave and what to buy and how to look. Materialism and consumerism and narcissism. Whereas this video is none of those things and therefore is very charming and beautiful.
I must take a second comment. This is so adorable many thanks to you ladies…it seems to be taken in another world. I can’t wait to see the other clock projects in future ❤
I'm speechless! It's beautiful and charming, and I want to live there! Thank you both for sharing this, it's absolutely precious! Have a wonderful week K&C family!
Thank you very much for this lovely video ! You have reawakened my love of miniatures and of crafting. I discovered this channel and your mudlarking channel and have been watching them all. They warm my heart !
This was so precious ,well done ladies too cute . I have a suggestion you should put glass over the front to keep the dust out. I love that your giving things a new life💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
I agree about putting glass or even a clear piece of acrylic sheet over it. But…. I noticed everything isn’t glued down firmly. What that means is, if they sealed it before doing that, the loose bits would be falling everywhere and then they would have to forcibly remove the glass, potentially damaging the front of the clock case. It’s a good idea, but must be done systematically, in stages, or there will be a mess.
How very magical! I literally could see my self sitting on the settee and reading by the light of the fireplace!, feeling so cozy and warm! All this coziness has suddenly made me a bit drowsy, so now I’m going to crawl into bed under that soft quilt with my book in hand, and read until the dream fairy comes to take me on my next mudlarking adventure ! So happy to have found y’all! Yes I said y’all , after all I am from Texas!
