After getting off a touring bike, the light weight and nimbleness of a Sportster is like a revelation. Guys over at Hammer can sure work some magic on those bikes. It's amazing how they squeeze 90 cubes out of that mill!
I love your bike so much. I got a 1200C I'm gonna change it to a 1275 by Hammer. The nimbleness andightweight of the sportster is what attracts me to these amazing Harleys.
For 30 yrs I’ve been loving my hot rod Sportsters people don’t know how fun they can be Especially in the late 80’s and 90’s you couldn’t touch one done right
2003 was the last year for the solid engine mounts. In 2007 the Sportster was converted to fuel injection. The 2003 and earlier bikes weighed in around 480 lbs dry weight. The rubber mounted frame added about 50 lbs in 2004 and destroyed the bikes good handling. Fuel injection added another 50 lbs to the already overweight Sportster. The standard Sportster should have 13 1/2" shocks to maintain maximum ground clearance and optimal cornering clearance. These classic Sportsters can run rings around the modern, Porky Pig Sportsters we have today.
I love these videos. It's always been my dream to buy a cheap 883 and turn it into a hotrod like the one in these videos. Are you happy with the Zippers product. I was thinking NHRA or S&S 1250. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Shane thanks for watching and you comment! I really enjoy HD Sportsters and this is a good one!
Nice build
For the 88" zipper kit, do I have to bore the cases?
Yes you do so it takes a complete tear down of the bottom end.
I love it
Thank you for the comment!
Any mods to run those cams? I seen 600 lift have to be slightly modified
I’m sure goes pretty good is an understatement lol
Thank you!
Did you ever figure what in the World that Oil Filter is? Sounds like a good idea for some extra oil in the system and some extra filtration.
What about open up the exhaust
