Hi Steven. Really enjoyed that one. If I'm still out walking when I'm Ron's age I will be very happy indeed. ☺
Thanks Carrie...look after yourself and i am sure you will still be out walking at Rons age...me too hopefully.
11:56 Ron reyt dude. That accent, yes mate. Sheffield steel right there. 84 knocking out 10 miles. What a boy
Great video Steve as always
Thanks Dan...yeah Ron was a real nice character, bet he has some great stories of his time on the hills.
Another great hike Stephen. I was wet on my last hike too. I get the mojo bit. Lost mine a couple of months ago too but it's good when you get it back. I'm looking forward to summer 🙄. Finally recognised, kudos. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Chris...yeah i just couldnt be bothered to film anything...sometimes it's good just to go out for an old fashioned walk
Thank you friends for sharing nature videos that are very beautiful, very fun and very exciting
Thanks Erik...appreciate the feedback
Lovely Stephen how beautiful it was too thank you once again 😊
You are very welcome
Welcome to British Summer time but hey it wasn't raining and no clag so you can't grumble. Peaceful walk out to the hill fort and nice views from the Peters stone. That 80 odd year old geezer, who recognised you, looked good for his age. I hope I'm still able to wander 10 miles at that age...if I make it to that age 🙂
Thanks Paul...like you, i hope i make it to that age...[ of course we will]
Hi Steven, nice video 👍
Thanks for watching
Nice walk 👍 Sky was nice. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks mate...yeah it was a lovely walk.
Good on you for going for a hike to just enjoy it and forget the filming. I'm going to have to do that soon!
You're TH-cam famous now😁
Nice views throughout this one! I like the Peters Stone view😍 I'm glad you decided to add that one in today😀
Thanks Age...yeah sometimes it's good to just get out for a walk..no filming , no photos, nothing...just like the good old days
Hi Steve
Somehow missed this one.
Good to see the weather isn't stopping you getting out and about.
How lovely that you were recognised. Hope we're still out walking when we're 84 😊
Hope you had a lovely weekend ❤
Evening folks...yeah it was a real thrill to be recognized...i was gobsmacked
Great walk - pity summer has not yet arrived. Thanks for video.
Thanks for watching!...hope it will be here soon...it's been ok today
The weather sums up the whole of 2024, dull, moody, wet and cold but good to see it not stopping you and you have inspired me to get my lazy behind out tomorrow, despite the forecasted rain showers - sick to death of waiting for dry, sunny weather. Always nice to bump into someone else on the trail and eve better when they recognise you too! Apart from the cows on the trail, not a bad walk out and typically saved the best weather till the end, cheers Alan
Thanks Alan...yeah it brightened up in the end...warmer days on the way
Fame at last hey Steven. 84 and still out walking. What a man.
Peter’s Stone is a lovely area hey. I’d love to do a wild camp there one day mate. 🤪🖖👍
Yeah what a bloke...i hope to still be out doing it at that age.
Beautiful hike though some lovely area. It's great to be recognized. Only happened 1 time for us! My mother does count right? 🤣🤣Loved coming along for the full stroll.
Thanks so much...always nice to hear from you
Glad you got your mojo back! Some more great tops! The Peter’s Stone is fantastic- but I’m always a little unnerved by its gruesome history
Oh yes...the Gibbet
@@atrampinthehills.841 yes… maybe I have an overactive imagination but I can’t help but think how horrible it would have been up there; the stench, flies, carrion eaters… the rattle of bones in the cage… 😂
Nice hike that one seeing more of the Peak watching these than with anyone else. Famous now then!😄😄
Oh yes Roger...fame at last Ha Ha.
Thank you for sharing. We are a bit late watching as been at Download Festival this weekend. Shame about the weather, hopefully will improve soon. We really enjoyed relaxing and watching this. It's a lovely area. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Thanks folks...i shall be watching your festival video soon.
Loved this one mate.
Very cool to meet Don. Just love meeting people out and about and swapping stories.
Seeing the deer was good too.
The weather has been a joke - we just had four days at a Show and just kept raining. When we woke up it was like - anyone know what time the rain starts?
And it was cold too
Well done on getting to 43 - just keep going mate. There will come a time when we can’t
Thanks Dave...yeah meeting Don was the highlight of the day.
@@atrampinthehills.841 met a really old guy in Ardnamurchan. Had a history of the hamlet and his life story in ten minutes 😃. Love chatting to the old guys (even older than me!)
fantastic hike thanks for taking us along
Thanks for joining me
That hill fort is so great!
Thanks...yes a great place in a nice setting
That sky looks angry, Steven but the view is stunning. Carl Wark looks interesting thanks for taking us along 😀 ❤❤
Thanks mate...glad you could come along
What is going on in the UK this year? That weather is crazy! Well at least everything is lovely and green. Cares Chair has an impressive history, be careful on that! Well done on number 43. Glad you have your mojo back. Well done on 41 and 42 too! Hello Ron! Beech is good in a shower! Looks like it’s brightening up 😂 peters stone is a lovely top, cracking views. ❤
Thanks folks...yes the weather has been a bit crazy so far this summer...hopefully things will improve soon....it was great to bump into Ron...yeah i lost my mojo for a bit there...just needed to get out for a proper old fashioned walk...hope you are enjoying your holiday.
Stunning hike Steven (loved the view off tumberlin hill 👌🏻)
Those summits are falling quickly mate 👍(the Peter’s tone was a cracking scramble)
Nice to see you get recognised too (special moment I bet 🤠🙏🏼)
Best regards Simon
Thanks Simon...Peters stone is quite an impressive little lump of rock...a big fave of mine
Lovely Stephen as always 😊
Thanks again!...cheers Ruth
Nice one Steve. Great video of your peak 75s. I am on a youtube catch-up as ive had laptop issues. Great vlog as always 👍
Thanks Gavin.
Goodness me, you have some cracking scenery around by you. I love the Brecon beacons but man, it’s stunning where you are!
That 84-year-old chap seemed such a lovely character and I only wish I could walk 10 miles a day when I get to that age.
They say that everybody gets 15 minutes of fame in their life. Well, I’ve just witnessed yours. 😂
Thanks Phil...yes i had my 15 minutes, so it's all down hill now.
Your series of Peak's Steven just gives evidence to what a beautiful country we live in. Shame about the stupid weather this year though, your winging made me smile 😎
Me?..Winge?...ok, maybe just a little...ha ha....thanks Nettie
Nice film that, great character you met there!!
Thanks...yes nice to meet up with Ron.
Nice one, Steven , I'm surprised you didn't see danny, or is that why you hid behind that beech tree 😂
Yeah i saw him coming....couldn't get behind that tree quick enough
Totally with ya steve with this lovely weather at the min it's the pits like and good on ya going to the second peak 45 yeah this one does look great pal nice views of the place and you got your fame moment 😂 nice one buddy
Cheers mate...yeah got my moment of fame
Lovely moorland walk that Steven and are you wearing a new hat (never seen that one before). Great to be recognised on a walk, you most certainly are now a TH-cam pin up boy. Yes a truly nice film which of course could only be bettered by having the gorgeous and glamorous Karen in it. 👍
Gorgeous and glamorous ...i told her that...she says she loves you
Hey nice bit of "cinematic" filming at 2:30
Really enjoyed your double summit adventure. Thanks for the video.
Cheers, Warren :)
Cheers mate...my pleasure
cracking day that Steven shame you got some of my rain tho . still some great views 👌👌👌
A little bit of rain, but we wont worry about that, "It's Summer"!!!!
Sorry Steven...not a Bronze age Chieftain...More like Simba on Pride Rock🤔...Sorry you lost your Mojo with the other two...it was cos you were spoilt down South in Cornwall and Devon🙂...The Gent was made of Sheffield Steel...God Bless him...Think I might just make it down to the local if I get to his age...I really can't believe you went to the Peter's stone...I was on top of it yesterday returning to Buxton from Eyam...can you believe they left criminals to rot up there...Also supposed to be haunted and is also known as Gibbet Rock...Excellent vid...Cheers Les🙂👍
Thanks Les...so glad i got my mojo back...Pity i didn't bump into you on Peters stone [ not literally ]...yes i know of it's gruesome history...i could imagine a skeleton up there clanking against the bars of a cage in the wind..bleached white in the sun after the flesh had been torn off by crows and Jackdaws..sends a shiver !!
@@atrampinthehills.841 🤣Have you ever considered writing horror stories for a living Steven ...that reply gave me the shivers 😲
We enjoyed the video, sorry to hear you lost your mojo same thing happened to me. I don’t think the weather has helped. We must get a dry spell soon…..
Fingers crossed!...hope we don't have too long to wait.
Great walk there quite dramatic scenery it was nice to watch 👍
Thanks Glyn
