Why couldnt you run the wire through the door grommet running along the whole wiring harness?
That's what the new 15-18 fl50 has except it's a small strip on the mirror and just as bright .. there called side mirror spot light...love em

Wouldn't you be able to splice it into the positive and negative wires for the heated mirror? It's already got the button wired and everything Into the truck from the factory. And you wouldn't have to take the door panel off.

No, the wire isn't sliding or grinding against anything to become damaged.
They sell these as a whole new mirror set? I'd rather pay more to bolt and play... and a better wiring job.
We dont offer them as a whole new mirror set unfortunately.

I wish they offered a rigid option for these mirrors. Rigid is a mile above all the rest

And u just gave the dealer 7k of your trade in allowance for some cool go go faster lights on an 80k truck. I have a 2014, completely stock and when I get the 7 liter it will be stock. If I had a 20 year old college truck hell yeah I would tear that thing up with light bars galore....but to each his own, maybe I’ll trade for an r8 with light bars for an awesome discount

Very poor wiring run. The wire can easily short to ground. The cheap crimps are also bad. Solder connections are always preferred. This video is a great example of poor wiring practices.
