Putin Accuses Ukraine of ‘Provocation’ Over Russia Incursion

- President Vladimir Putin accused Ukraine of a “large-scale provocation” by sending hundreds of troops into Russia’s Kursk region, the biggest assault on Russian territory since he ordered the 2022 invasion of its neighbor.
Putin opened a meeting with government ministers Wednesday by announcing he’d summoned defense and security officials to report on developments in the border region, in his first comments since the incursion that began early Tuesday.
European natural gas prices jumped on a report from Russia’s unofficial Rybar military blogger that Ukrainian troops had seized the key transit point of Sudzha in the region that carries gas via Ukraine to Europe. The claim couldn’t be independently verified.
Russia’s state-controlled Gazprom PJSC didn’t respond to requests for comment, while Ukraine’s gas transmission operator said flows to Europe were continuing as normal as at 1 p.m. local time.

Christian churches closed,Russian language forbidden *( even though he ,Zelinsky spoke only Russian until after his election. He shut down the opposition political parties even some opposing politicians. Same with newspapers, only ONE from hus party allowed to print news.
You may have known this, but I printed it down for you in case you didn't. MANY UKRANIANS and RUSSIANS have intermarried for ages which is why the Crimea Bridge was built so families can save over 8 extra hours to seeing their families across the Ukranian/Russian border.

Even Mikail Gorbechev said so. That's more of Pooty's lies. And, NATO had nothing to do with this invasion. Ukraine was not even close to joining NATO but huge deposits of oil and gas were found in Eastern Ukraine and in the Black Sea on both sides of Crimea and Ukraine was getting ready to start drilling and Pooty knew if Ukraine started recovering these resources his monopoly on European energy was finished. Ukraine would replace Russia as the primary source of energy in Europe. So Pooty invaded Ukraine to stop them from drilling and to capture the resources for Russia. That's the REAL reason for this invasion. Anything else is just more Russian lies.
But if you want to talk about agreements, Russia signed the Budapest Memorandum agreeing to recognize Ukraine's borders in return for Ukraine giving up its nukes. But, Russia didn't keep its word yet again.
