When you execute the movements in 'shadow' you can lose track of stick placement, direction etc. Seeing the moves performed on an object focuses your attention correctly on where you are striking and what each technique is meant to accomplish. Thank you for displaying this along with the descriptive break down.

Thanks master! Many of the ideas of kali can blend very well with other martial arts, in my case Karate do. The thing I really like of kali is the way you can use your body and weapons, like a jazz musician who is jamming.

@KaliCenter I had the same question/request. Seems like it would be awesome for solo training.

Hey Paul. I have a support question for some of the ITC 2017 videos not being available to play. I sent an e-mail to the support Gmail address listed on the site, but I haven't gotten a response. Is that the proper way to report an issue? Other than the those issues. I have been loving the content. Thanks.

The correct word should be “panuntukan” not “panantukan” because the root word is “suntok”. “Suntukan” is just a generic term to refer to a fist fight. It was never a systematized boxing art. Inosanto just utilized some Bisayan words to market his school. Like Kino Mu Tai, is just a bastardization of the Bisayan term “Kinamutay” which is just a generic term meaning the use of hands. The root word is “kamut” or hand.
