I have a friend that's a nurse who has been taking the injection for a little over a year. It's caused her to lose weight, but it's still been a slow process. Again she's been doing this for a little over a year. In all honesty, as far as the weight coming off, the process almost seems the same. It wasn't a quick result, it was slow and steady. She explained to me the dosage she was on would be too much for some and not enough for others, which again to me is the same as understanding macros and calories. So in my opinion, which of course doesn't really matter, I think it's best to get to a point where your mind is set on doing it by eating healthy and exercising. And when I say healthy, I mean understanding how food works for you. I do agree that if you're morbidly obese and need help then this injection could be a benefit, but just know the process very well may be the same, as my friend's process has taken a year plus to get real results. Hope this helps. Grace, peace, and Christ's blessings to you all.
Just to clarify, your program didn’t cause me to be more over weight. I stayed the same weight during the program and honestly I was very depressed and didn’t do the program work like I should have. AND I did learn a lot and still go back to those basics today.
I Always like the way you explained things, but this time you killed it, thank you for explaining it so very well, If you don’t put the work in or change the habits like you said you will always gain weight. That’s what it is, and people don’t think about the side effects on taking those kinds of medicine for a long period of time. Thank you for speaking the truth, I hope people will listen to you and think twice before getting it or taking it.
No, I worry about the long term side effects. I have a few co-workers that use it and have found some success, but haven’t changed any of their eating habits (other than eating less). It is hard, at times, not to be envious of their easy weight loss. I have yo-yoed for years, so the struggle is real.
Thanks for this information. But what if I know all the habits and mindsets that I’m supposed to have and I’ve even done your program for 4 months and I’m more over weight now then I was then. I keep trying and I know all the stuff about tracking calories and about working out and I go back to the stuff I’ve learned on your program and it works great, BUT if this injectable can help me feel less hungry while I make all the right lifestyle changes and can develop those healthy habits is it so bad? I assume that once 30 to 40 lbs are gone perhaps faster then with out the medication, then that will be motivating enough once the drug is stopped. It’s really hard being over weight and it’s such a slow process to lose it. It is a vicious cycle. 😢
