I think Morgan is amazing. Somehow, he magically keeps a series of videos about a guy doing his farm chores interesting over several years. He's also created another channel (Morgan Gold) on which he tells stories, which he does with heart, enthusiasm, and style. Perhaps that's the secret of the Gold Shaw Farm channel: it's all about telling a long story with engaging animal characters.
I love the loyalty and commitment you have for your animals, your town, and your channel , your viewers, your 'haters', despite difficult times. Good example. I love that you respect your wifes wishes when she declines to participate sometimes.
I loved Abbie’s moment of zen with the straw bale…I think you had your moment of zen with baby b and Toby had his moment of zen marking his territory…I’m with Allison going cross country skiing…what a beautiful snow and wonderful place you are and have been making Gold Shaw Farms
Abby was such a training nightmare for you, but she proves that consistency in training can work on even the most spirited of dogs. Her personality only ads to her adorableness❤❤❤. Just seeing her spread hay makes me want to reach into the video and rub her belly. 😂 She reminds me of my Rottweiler so much. Sending Abby belly rubs from Indiana where we are getting tornadoes, not snow.😮
Your farm is beautiful when it snows - just lovely. That's so cool that Allison does the cross-country skiing - I've been made to understand that's a very high-energy exercise and is very good for you - go Allison!
These moments of continuity are so relaxing. Life goes on, no matter what. Always make me ask myself, what's really essential and what's accessory...Thank you for reminding me❣
This is my favorite kind of video that you make. Love just watching the chores being done and getting caught uo on whats happening around the farm. Very calming.
You have given us some beautiful footage of the farm and your animals. I miss the snow so much, living in Florida. I think Winter is absolutely the most beautiful season. Thank you for sharing your farm with us.
Loved, LOVED this video. Thank you. When im really struggling mentally these videos are so helpful in getting me motivated to just move. When moving is even a struggle... things like this are just, everything.
Thank you. Vermont is a beautiful place when it snows. You needed that otherwise you would have had a dry summer. No one wants that. At the moment in Sydney Australia we are having a rain dump. It’s been a long humid summer so it will be interesting to see how wet our winter will be. Again thank you. May you all please take care and stay safe. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
pablo playing with you like that is so cute and a massive sign of respect from a cat - they trust you enough to start playing rough One of my males cats loves to wrestle, its his go to play. of course i pay for it with puncture marks but he has fun
@MimsysGarden I agree, super super talented, its always different content as well. Most of my subscriptions I get bored after seeing same ole, but Morgan's are always knowledgeable 🥰🥰🥰🥰
April Fools, Winter isn't really over yet, lol. Looks like the most snow you've gotten all Winter, so I guess it starts later and goes well into Spring. Everyone looks great, the geese are producing and the cows are getting bigger and bigger. All is well at Gold Shaw Farm, thanks Morgan, always a pleasure.🐕🦆🐥🐓🐄❤️👍
Winter starts later, mid December versus October-November, and ends about the same time it traditionally should. We get more severe thaws in January through March, and the spring snows are heavier/wetter. My garlic sprouted last week; now it's under 20" of wet snow here in Southern VT.
@@bkm2797 They'll be fine. Expecting high 40s, low 50s starting early next week. Snow will melt and I'll add another layer of hay to protect them from frosty nights/early mornings. Point is, they should not have sprouted for another three to four weeks.
❤ Vermont and GSF are borh beautiful before, during, and after the snowstorm. Thanx, Morgan, for the wonderful drone shots of the landscape. I love them. Abby Girl sure loves the straw fir her nest. ❤
I saw on British weather forecast that north of NY was due a metre of snow. Ah, I said, that’s my farmer in Vermont. Not quite a metre but plenty to be going on with. The view from the sky was wonderful. I miss snow so much. They get it up in the hills behind us but not down at sea level where I live.
We here in the Ottawa Valley (Canada) thought winter was over but nope, had a heavy snowfall that began yesterday that has now leveled out but more expected in the next two days BUT temps for next Wednesday are suppose to reach 60°F. Go figure!
This weather system is from north to south. The people who got my parents' old house are friends. They got a tornado in central West Virginia (unheard of), and they also got snow. They always get their weather about 24 hours before it hits us and 10⁰F less than us, so we've just gotten a serious soaking. We're down in the DC area.
No, it has not felt like winter this year. So now that it is spring, we get a taste of winter. I do love it. Yesterday in southern NH I saw a chickadee with a twig in its beak.
Hey Morgan, it's been too long since we got an entire doggo episode. I have been wondering for literally years, how do they patrol the entire perimeter? Do they make paths in the snow? How often are they at the top of the pasture, night and day? And how is the Toby-Abby dynamic nowadays?
Nice video. Love the aerial of the countryside after that beautiful blanket of snow. Someday it would be nice to have a four seasons drone footage video, with animal activity normal to each season interspersed.
Hey, Im a long time fan and your way of making videos is always so relaxing. They always brighten up my day so please never stop ! I have an interesting idea for you to try if you can somehow, it would be cool if it worked - If you have any way to vibrate the metal bar above the duck home. Almost like one of those massage guns could work but maybe some kind of power tool as long as you got a rubber/plastic attachment instead of anything metal.. it would be pretty loud if you used metal on metal. You could also get a square plywood or similar to protect and hold on the plastic itself and vibrate with whatever tool you got It would look really awesome on video to see all the snow fall down from the roof just like that with vibrations. Maybe it wont work but seeing how easy you "vibrated" the snow off the side with your hands only, it seems like it could work! Fingers crossed
I know you’ve said the contour of the swales on your trees is a pain to maintain but it makes everything so beautiful and natural looking from above in those aerial shots ❤
My favourite kind of episode. Seeing as global warming has robbed me of regular snowfall in Yorkshire, I have to live vicariously through Gold Shaw Farm. The last time I walked in decent snow was probably 2020 and I had to walk up Great Whernside to 2310 feet (704 metres) above sea level. My last "Good" winter was 2010. It feels like a different age. 😊❤😊
Fantastic video, Morgan! Beautiful from the sky, too! Was thinking about you wanting to generate electricity. You could put photovoltaic cells on that mobil chicken coop that you put up in the pasture. And rather than take down that old building, stick a few cell panels on the roof. Also on your new garage so you can use the sun to heat and cool your new incubator room. 🐣
Must be absolutely epic to wake up like that 🎉 and greet your animals for the day .if you ever decide to open a farm b&b I'll be your first guest ,or if you want a 70 year old farm hand ,I volunteer. 😂😂😂
We're near Randolph and the snow hasn't stopped yet, they're saying it's going to snow clear through the night again. It's gorgeous outside, but we're definitely staying in for the day.
I wish I was as happy about anything as Abby is about spreading hay
Right?!? Me too!
Agreed!!
Happyness is a choice you make every day! It's up to you! Choose to be happy!
Agreed!
Probably one of my favorite videos you've done.
Not sure quite why. It just has a warm fuzzy feeling to it. In a good way. Thank you
Abby’s a spreader of joy
We love toby dog, we love toby dog.....❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊

Yes, Tune in folks for the next installment, the ongoing saga of ~ Morgan & the Beasts! Lol! (at least I'm amusing myself! Hah!)
I didn't know about a second existing Chanel thanks I'll look it up. I definitely enjoy his videos ❤
I love the loyalty and commitment you have for your animals, your town, and your channel , your viewers, your 'haters', despite difficult times. Good example. I love that you respect your wifes wishes when she declines to participate sometimes.
18:01 those we're some REAL Magical shots. Wow
I loved Abbie’s moment of zen with the straw bale…I think you had your moment of zen with baby b and Toby had his moment of zen marking his territory…I’m with Allison going cross country skiing…what a beautiful snow and wonderful place you are and have been making Gold Shaw Farms

Abby and Toby are trained really good they are good nature dogs Abby and Toby are beautiful
Abby making her nest was terrific. You do live in a beautiful place.
I love the repetition. Ending meets beginning.

I used to like to smell the fur of my cat after it had been out in the blowing snow. Mmm, fresh cat.
You are a natural with animals. They love you .
Abby is such a cute nest maker.
really loved the ambiance and that drone footage was excellent. One of my fav episodes thanks for the great entertainment
These moments of continuity are so relaxing. Life goes on, no matter what. Always make me ask myself, what's really essential and what's accessory...Thank you for reminding me❣
Love at the beginning as you were leaning into the camera and you have A kitty tail! Lol
❤ the drone footage. Beautiful snow.
Abby’s like “finally something I like to do I don’t get into trouble doing”!
I`ll keep asking, ad infinitum
The world needs some farmdog moments of Zen

Pablo is so cute omg!
I love Abby's energy. I know she's been a harder to train bc of it but to watch her enthusiasm is a joy. I do still love the Toby Dog tho ❤
The farm looks so nice in the snow
Love Abby in the hay!❤️
this was one of the most enjoyable videos you've posted lately, i miss having chickens. one day
Abbey is so adorable happily spreading the straw ❤😊
It was so cute to watch Abby making her nest and then settling in for a Long Winter's Nap!🥰🥰🥰

Old Shoe🇺🇸
Goodafternoon, yes the snow looks beautiful. I love it at one time. But the cold bothers me now. Love watch the dogs loving it.
Oh no! I hope the cows don’t calve in this weather. Wish you all the best Morgan
That aerial footage was so beautiful! You are definitely blessed!
Abby is such a lovable cute goofball I love watching her make her straw bale nests and beg for tummy rubs 😊 your farm looks stunning covered in snow.
Those wagging tails @ 2:02 😍
This is my favorite kind of video that you make. Love just watching the chores being done and getting caught uo on whats happening around the farm. Very calming.
Toby is the bestest of boys
Abby is the cutiest of girls
Love em both ♥
You have given us some beautiful footage of the farm and your animals. I miss the snow so much, living in Florida. I think Winter is absolutely the most beautiful season. Thank you for sharing your farm with us.
@18:44 That hatchery sure keeps the snow off that section of the new barn's roof. ;)
This was amazing, that's definitely a lot of snow! You're smart, I like a lot of things that you do. All of the animals are so funny!
Abby in the hay is so adorable and fun to watch.
Beautiful drone imagery.
Toby and Abbey look like polar bears 🐻❄️ ❤❤❤
Loved the music that went with the drone footage; so serene. ☺️
Loved, LOVED this video. Thank you. When im really struggling mentally these videos are so helpful in getting me motivated to just move. When moving is even a struggle... things like this are just, everything.

I never realized how much I needed bird food ASMR in my life before today...
pablo playing with you like that is so cute and a massive sign of respect from a cat - they trust you enough to start playing rough
One of my males cats loves to wrestle, its his go to play. of course i pay for it with puncture marks but he has fun
I use an old oven mitt to play hard with my cat. It saves my hand and she gets some primal energy out🎉🎉
@@nancyparker8363 Ahaha love it
Mine does have a puppet Ahahah as soon as it's out, he'll start squaring up
Your drone footage was THE BEST!! I felt like I finally got a nice feel for the area in which you live. It's so so beautiful!
Dogs are the best! Mans best friend! The love they have in every interaction!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤️
Lovely video today! Great music, great aerial, great narration. Thanks Morgan. Always love waking up to one of your videos.
He is super talented! 💚
@MimsysGarden I agree, super super talented, its always different content as well. Most of my subscriptions I get bored after seeing same ole, but Morgan's are always knowledgeable 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Drive safe Alison. Stay at work if you have to.
Abby warms my heart
Really enjoyed this Videocast.. Cheered me up, tight editing so quickly done... Drone prospective was magic also!! Thanks Morgan.
The drone footage was nice.

Sorry to hear that, maybe you should think about a hothouse so you don't have to start over again and again.

Good to hear it didn't kill them, just slowed them down a bit.
Abby is so cute in that hat. I can't even!
Another Abby nest! A joy to watch!!!
Abby is hysterical with the hay!!
Very cool drone shots of the farm. 👍👍
You will probably find your snow measurer in the middle of summer. It will still work next year.
I've never seen a dog "nest" in straw before, it's so damn cute!
❤ Vermont and GSF are borh beautiful before, during, and after the snowstorm. Thanx, Morgan, for the wonderful drone shots of the landscape. I love them. Abby Girl sure loves the straw fir her nest. ❤
Abby really is the sweetest dog ever
GETTIN' EXCITED ABOUT THE ECLIPSE??? Can't wait to see your video on that!
I like how comfortable the bulls are with you know. That's cool.
One of the best videos ever! Abby nest, beautiful snow, getting to see all the animals...perfect🦆🐈🐕🦺

Oh..we aren't done yet. It's still snowing In our area. I live on the border with Vermont, in Massachusetts. It's up to about 7 inches so far.

When my grandparents had the farm the dogs eat a lot of different of the things we eat for dinner.

Love the drone footage. I think drones are the best things since sliced bread😂
All depends to what end they are used!
Unless you're in Ukraine 😂
Great episode.
Beat you are getting some more from the Noreaster hitting us now. Mostly rain down here
Very relaxing video, thank you very much, Morgan.
I really enjoyed the drone footage at the end.

Love the drone footage. Great farm footage too
This type of video is a feast for the eyes and heart!
Few things are as beautiful as fields covered in snow. Now comes the mud, again. Will this be mud season #4??
I think Pablo's love language is mild aggression 😂😂😂
I, too, follow Ryan Hall for weather. The snowfall is so pretty.

We live in the Rockies and got the most snow in many years, almost 5+ feet!, 3 of which fell over night. Got up and couldn't see a thing!
