I've seen Russel's other american interviews and I think he is comfortable with Conan the most. This is their first interview and look at their energy, it is amazing.
It's the hair comradery ... and the non-threatening, frail, self-depricating vibe given off by Conan.
Yeah it's because intellectually they are at a similar level...
I actually think he was more relaxed with Craig Ferguson. He seems to get silly with Craig, which makes me think he feels safe/true to himself with him.

The combination of his intelligence and his British education means that most Americans don’t stand a chance linguistically when in his company, though Conan probably comes closest. Love ‘em both.
He did use "inferring" improperly, first mistake I've heard from him. He has a ridiculous vocabulary.

He has said that he looks for new words and their meaning and saves it in his phone. The online dictionary of my first language has this "word of the day", everytime I like or find one useful I save it too :)

I think this is my second time seeing it, I really relate to their dynamic because I'm ADHD and autistic, when I used to have friends before all was lost to years of chronic illness under capitalism, we would have vibrant metaphors, rainbows made out of words and energy, joy in shared commonalities.
