Joe Vitale is truly an unsung hero in rock music. Not many people know him by name and he probably couldn't care less. But he made enormous contributions in so many ways. I read album cover credits. I know what he has done. I have always been a huge fan.

I remember hearing both of those Joe’s on the old barnstorm records!!! Fantastic stuff… And I remember being shocked that Joe joined the Eagles… Glad he never gave up his solo career… ok, so I like the Eagles they just didn’t sound to my ear like a Joe Walsh…Until Joe joined them…🎉

I need to read his book Back stage pass

Hey Tom, old white guy here, fantastic interview! I love that stuff how things were put together back in the day the history of a song, a band, I love that shit!!! Just started following your channel again with the Otis Gibbs videos and just realized what a great guitarist you are, you look like you’re playing with reckless abandon but you know what the f*** your doing , wish I had that ability.

Thanks, gents! I was 14 when Barnstorm played Colorado Springs city auditorium. just down I-25 from Nederland, when Rocky Mountain Way was all over the radio. Kid drummer I was and I vividly remember Joe's Ludwig psychedelic red oyster kit, 2 racks on a stand between double kicks. I think Sugarloaf opened the show. Thx for the in depth, Larry. Joe V = Legend.

Joe's comments at the end inspired me to get my butt in gear on my home recording etc. - such a great dude(!!!) and of course, Uncle Larry leading the tribe --- Phil Collins was right - the pocket on RMW is insane --- growing up in the 70's --> 80's - that was RNR archetype for a classic rock song for sure. Joe you are awesome - hope you guys have a great concert for an awesome cause !!!
