just bought one. really nice. rivals the landrover for much less money and more options. lincoln had done a nice job. (this is my first move away from mercedes and porsche in many years. )

@@CarsWithSteve the sl450. it's a powerful, solid and comfortable highway cruiser. even with the hard top down the wind is minimal. but, it does not handle like the boxster. the box is much less powerful (until it really spools up) but a whole lot more fun to drive on the twisties. 50:50 weight distribution with the engine right behind you makes for fabulous cornering. and it sounds....well....wonderful!

24:14 DO NOT LOCK YOUR KEY FOB IN YOUR CAR. Anyone who breaks the window can just click the start stop button and drive away because you left the key fob in the car.
Had someone point that out in one of my other videos. If the vehicle has rain sensing wipers it tweaks the sensitivity and without auto wipers it will determine the speed of the wiper as well!
Wait so you're saying is whether you have dynamic handling package or not it won't matter because it comes with 22 inch wheels which makes the ride feel rougher? I think the package I'd go with is the reserve 2 which does not come with the air suspension but yet still comes with 22inch wheels 🤷🏾♂️
If you get the dynamic handling package you have to be in the 202a package. However if you don't care about the air suspension system then you can get just the 202a package that will come with the 22" tires instead of the 20" that are standard in the 200a and 201a. I noticed that the tires were louder in comparison when driving the 202a with air suspension but that's because of the difference in size
Intelligent Cruise detects road signs and automatically adjusts the speed for you. Tolerance is how faster you want the Intelligent cruise to go faster than the speed limit. So for example, You're on a road. Then, you pass by a speed sign and it said 50 max. You set your tolerance level to 5 kmh. Intelligent cruise will set you to 55 kmh.
Great in depth explanation of the Intelligent Cruise. I figured out quite a bit more about the car after this video was done and really understanding the Intelligent Cruise Control was one of them. Can't wait for Lincoln to take the dive into fully self driving in the next few years

Great question! If you're connected via Android Auto/Apple Car Play you could press the Voice Assist button to activate either Google Assistant or Siri.. you could then use that to create a voice text

@@CarsWithSteve new sync 4? So which version comes with the 2021 model. Asking because my vehicles arrives in two weeks and during the testing of the car I didn't like the lag using the infotainment. I think that and the navigation system is the only place where Lincoln continues to fall behind.
@@ncruze07 No Sync4 in the Aviator - I meant on the Ford vehicles that were equipped with the new system. The 2021 Nautilus will have Sync4 this year so hopefully Lincoln carries that to the rest of the lineup in 2022! The nav system is ok on Symc3 but one of the nice things about it is that you've got the ability to use Android Auto/Apple Car Play. I know there are people who prefer to use Google Maps or Waze so you'd be able to run either directly through the media screen
@@CarsWithSteve yeah I don't use Android Auto, dislike it. But how about wave, I heard Ford/Lincoln partnered with Waze to use their apps as navigation.. Is that something I can download via the app store in the vehicle and use?

Courtesy Wipe will not turn on the wipers on startup. It gives an extra wipe after you have sprayed washer fluid.

The knob on the front of the wiper knob is not for the fluid. It is for the sensitivity of the rain sensor.

🤦♂️ Definitely wasn't ideal.. but I've noticed in some 2021s on Sync3 that the lag is not noticeable plus in the new Sync4 there was no lag at all!
