Howdy friends. Lately I’ve been wondering, or am I overreacting? You see, for all my “the best” videos, I’d have to go out and select ‘the creme’, and get their permission to interview and film them. Thanks to the cooperative parties I managed to successfully upload all my other videos here. Lately in this new video, I was rejected by 6 establishments. It gave me the impression that Hokkien Mee is doing extremely well as a business since there’s no need for publicity, or is there something they want to hide from me. Thankfully this 8 Hokkien Mee that I’m featuring are not only the best but the most cooperative, sincere and humble people. Guess that’s why they are so successful. Please support our local street food. Thanks

Thank you very much for the list. It made my life easier. I was working in PJ for nine years previously, 1992 to 2001. The only hokkien mee that I know is in Jalan 222 that is delicious. Sometimes ordered two plates. Ahwa originally is at the other corner. Ahwa is still slightly better than the other shop in off Jalan 222. Tried a few hokkien mee in SeaPark and Paramount, but still went back to Ahwa. I have to renew my visits in PJ, according to your list of recommendations.
    Thank you very much again.
Note: I met a Chinese from Fujian, the person said Fujian hokkien mee is better. Now I have this video to show. I think a lot Chinese food are originated in Malaysia, I just don't know which is made in Malaysia besides Bak Kut Teh.

My last visit to KL was Jun 2019. I went to An Wah in PJ. Their Hokkien Mee is good. My good friend Helen Hokkien Mee at Jalan Alor is good. She closed it, and open with her brother at "Chui Lau Sinn", Cheras, 1, Jalan Jejaka 3, Maluri, 55100 Kuala Lumpur. Helen took up a $1.2m contract to cook Hokkien Mee in Singapore.

Coming over from Singapore in a couple of weeks. Can’t wait to eat through PJ in the time I have. I have been following your videos for a while now. first observations that may help you (I used to managed another channel as a strategist) . I think without renaming your videos, you need a map or way finder for non Malaysians who would struggle with the locations and might not be able to differentiate between your videos specific to PJ and the towns in other states away from ‘KL’ area. Unlike me, I am sure many Singaporeans still think PJ and KL as one and the same as well. The second observation came from actual compiling of the places to eat in my trip. I think you do need to rename your existing videos to make way for videos with list of eateries who still make the cut or are still in business. For example quite a few in your other videos have closed. Lastly you can use playlist more aggressively to group existing videos. Hope to update my own findings when I start eating soon

Alternatively, just delete it. it is preventing me n i believe your viewers fr being able to listen to you clearly. Otherwise, everything else seems v good. Well done. Keep it up.

I think it's more appropriate to call it as "Hokkien Char" or Fook Kin Chaw since it's a fried form.
Then one won't mistake it as Penang Hokkien Mee which is in broth form.

Heng Kee Hokkien noodle is the ultimate failure. Noodle is soggy, not enough ingredients, no pork lard (although Elmo said got in the video), no greens and liver (despite shown in the video, suspect they remove it to cut cost these days), no fragrance, whole plate is tasteless. 😔
