  • In this video we'll be making two succulent bowl arrangements for indoors with succulent plants tolerant of shade. Anyone, even beginners, can do this.
Succulents can be a bit tricky to grow indoors as many are not good in shade but, if you choose wisely, there are some that will work well.
With good maintenance, succulent bowls (with the right plants) can last indoors for some years.
This step-by-step guide will also talk about how to care for indoor succulents and what to look out for.

Do these ones sell alright vs any other arrangements?
I really like the idea. Was thinking of doing the same inside, and then just a super hardy outside planter that could take a lot of abuse.
I just know people love a full mixed planter that looks pretty, regardless if it dies. It makes me sad but I get it.

I make colourful, fuller outdoor arrangements as well as these and once I explain the colourful succulents will likely die indoors, people tend to go for the indoor friendly ones. I also would hate if someone came back saying their plants died as i go to the same market and many customers are regulars 😅
Yeah, i think it’s a good idea to try one for indoors and super tough plants for outside. 👍 it’s so satisfying when they grow well.🌱

After we complete the arrangement, do we have to leave them indoors until they grow roots? (just like we have to do when we’re growing succulent babies from leaves) Or do we put the arrangements bowl straight outside in the sun? (I’m using full sun succulent varieties.)

If you're using full sun varieties, outside would be the best spot for them (weather allowing). If you're in a climate that gets freezing cold in winter and there's still a chance of frost you may want to wait until it warms up. Hope this helps :)

What is this? You are not supposed to pour water on top of the leaves on succulents....

Hi, i currently have 200 000 succulents in my outdoor nursery- all watered with sprinklers that wet the leaves and are exposed to the rain. The leaves can most definitely be watered 👍

@@SucculentGrowingTips outdoors yes. Same as orchids I’ve heard

And indoors- Nothing will happen to an indoor succulent if you water the leaves as long as you don't spray them all the time and let them dry out properly. I'd also argue they are very much NOT the same as Orchids. Orchids are tropical plants that prefer a humid environment @@Yambataller
