I own a 2017 R8. Mine is tango red, also a bright colour for the R8. It was really special for me to watch a top TH-camr give such a positive review to my car for all the same reasons I love it and picked it for my first super car. Everything Martin makes you feel about the pre facelift R8 V10 plus is true. To Martin, thank you for your comment on the tires, I had my eye on those for my next set and your feedback seals the deal.

Watch how Martin is calm, composed and concentrated... until 12:55 you will notice him losing his shit, the movements of his camera, i would say hearth rate going above 180 as he goes crazy. Great video Martin!

The best daily drivable supercar. Sounds better and looks better than the new one. Is much cheaper and more practical than Huracan and that exhaust makes it one of the best sounding V10s ever.

That Lambo V10 is off the charts beastly. Possibly the best sounding V10 ever made with that deep bass growl. The LFA is a bit more pitchy, but does sound good.
it's not just lambo's v10. It's Audi's as well. (Lambo made the 5.0 but the 5.2L v10 was co-developed). If you think the Gallardo came with it only first, the 5.2L also went into the rs6 (C6) but it was twin turbo

In actual fact it's closer to being Audi's as the Lambo traditionally always came with a "even firing" ordered v10. Have you wondered why the LFA sounds different compared to huracans/r8? That's because the huracans/r8 are using odd firing order v10's. Logically if you understood, half a v10 is just a 5 cylinder and you know which company has the most experience with 5 cylinders? that's right it's Audi which have been known to use their odd firing order even to this day (the rs3). The creation of the 5.2L v10 is actually closer to being Audi's than it is being Lambo's. As creating a whole new firing order requires camshaft, crankshaft etc. all reworked. This is because the 5.0L v10 from lambo had a LOT of issues which you can find online. Anyway if you listen to the 5.0L gallardo they sound significantly different to the huracan/r8 of this era and closer to the LFA/carrera GT due to having an even firing order.

An amazing thing about the R8 is the lack of some stupid middle screen witch in time makes the car feel old this car this middle version is just perfect if i have the money i will buy more than one .

Great video as always but i have a problem with the quality of the videos. The videos always bugg when i try to put it in HD, it works only @ 720p60. I can go for 1440p on any others videos on TH-cam except here. (I don't know if i'm the only one to have this issu?).
On supercars n/a always win, turbos are cool on 4 cyl Personally i prefer gen1 for exterior and analog speedometer, but for interior and performance this thing win. Lambos are cool but too much flushy for real use Cool specs on this mango, only few have audi exclusive
