But I was offered a R8 Spyder (v10 manual) before I ordered myPorsche Spyder. I did test drive a 2020 R8 but found it numb in terms of feedback and not as nimble or go+carty as the 718 Spyder . You have done a video on both the manual, 718 Spyder and R8 v10 manual. How do they compare? If you could on,y have one in your garage - which one? Thanks.
PS: I love the white. in fact I used to an undying fan to the Audi R8 now kind of dropped off. wouldn't mind if gifted to me though. ADD-IN: preach to Audi about that manual gearbox. going to full auto is no fun. even BMW understands that.

I bought an R8 V10 Plus with S tronic from 2013. The 1st generation is so much more beautiful. I changed the suspension to a KW V4. The car is absolutely amazing on mountain passes.

The reason why the Gallardo LP560-4 V10 was detuned for the first R8 V10 launched in 2009 - 517 bhp instead of the Gallardo’s 552 bhp - was to prevent it from stealing sales from the more expensive Gallardo, because what would be the point of paying more for the Gallardo if it wasn’t going to be any faster than an R8 V10 if the two cars had the same power as each other? They wouldn’t, so Gallardo sales would have plummeted as a result!
The other day i saw the new audi r8 v10 and the old audi r8 v10, about 1:30 minutes after each other in the road, what are the chances...i still prefer the old r8, and how low it is on the ground it's looks so menacing yet strikingly beautiful.
Blip the throttle. Practice your heel toes, you either don't and I cry or you under rev and I cry. Fat foot it if you have to, but get those damn revs up. Better to overrev a bit and wait that fraction of a second for it to fall into the synchros than to slip the clutch like seen here (takes forever). You will have infinitely more fun, and it gets easier the faster you go because brake pressure becomes more stable as you dig into them.
It's not fair that 99 if not 100% of us will never have enough money to buy this car. Hell, most of us will rarely even see one. The world is not fucking fair.

Gets rid of no wind turbulence. The wind flows over the windshield and falls into the cabin. That's why they have the wind guards by the head rest. It keeps wind flowing over the body of the car by extending the high pressure bubble created by the front of the car.
It does reduce wind turbulence. There’s wind at the sides of the car as well. Ever driven a convertible with windows up and down?! Makes a significant difference, especially at high speeds.
Yes, it almost denies the meaning of driving such a car. Also the nonexistent engine revhang (unlike 99% of ordinary manual cars) requires fast upshifts. Or alternatively - revmatching even when changing up.

i work for audi and i drove some of these cars with manual and i must say that manual r8 v10 is so fuging nice sadly i cant afford one, but i always will remember the start of the engine, when you sit in the car and behind you this fuging amazing engine start up and shakes you in the seats .... dream car but yeah still happy with my 1series f20 (kinda :( cries in v10) KEK
