- This is a video of the process of installing an aftermarket tractor seat on Gary's Ford 2110 after the old seat rusted out.

In the video I mention the fitting of seat belts but they had not arrived at the time of filming. They will be fitted after Gary has had a chance to be sure all is good with the new seat. When they are fitted, and the seat passes muster, all the sliding and rotating surfaces which were spray lubricated in the video will be given a proper greasing.
Planning to do this in the spring to my 2110. Thanks!

Good luck with it! They are a nice little machine and the repair is fairly straightforward.
We have this seat for a 1974 Ford 2000. Taking the old seat off and one of the mounting bolts appears to be also some sort of pin that goes deep into the frame. What is this for and what is it called. We stripped it....
OK that's probably bad. I am not a professional tractor mechanic but I do know that the three cylinder F2000 tractors used the rear seat stud as the plunger guide for the draft spring plunger. Have you stripped the plunger or the hole? Solution to the first is get a new plunger [I don't know where you are but you could try a New Holland dealer for part number C5NN669C or C5NN669B] - solution to the second is to get a mechanic or an engineering shop to fit a Heli-Coil or similar thread repair insert. Sorry I cannot help further than that.
@@mousemade1 Ford 3600 tractor in India used to have kushy seat for the driver, who makes kushy driver seat for Ford tractor.
@@pardeepgill9020 Yes, these are made by Sunil Automotive in Bengaluru, I believe. I have not seen them in Australia but I am not an expert.
