I had a similar problem with my 1600. Angle iron is your friend. I'm sure Bloomberg would have had a more elegant solution being the farming expert that he is.

I can teach anyone to be a farmer... I’d love to have him visit as a farm hand.

One item that I keep handy- an oil can filled with used engine oil. My Dad always said " a drop of oil is mighty powerful stuff"

Low rise back, so now you can tan your tramp stamp =D
That tractor though. Brings back memories.

just a quick tip for rusty bolts
when they start to bind up just go back the other direction a turn or two and then go back to loosening and that will clear the threads most times
    thanks for your videos

An oil can or some wd40 would be good to keep around. I keep my joints greased and oiled on my tractor. Great for when things are needed to be done

Check with Winnie-the-Pooh...he's experienced in that thinking/analyzing business.

If we could just get ol Mike to go teach the indigenous S. Africans " how to farm" Africa could be the world's bread basket.

I saw what seems to be a pin going through the end of that bolt - would that come out - also on the seat I have there is a c clip on the other end of that bolt. Next time do yourself a favour and give all those bolts nuts and connectors a squirt of PB blaster or some other spray and let it soak in overnight. Just about to do mine today! Thank you and good luck.
