You are GENIUS! I never would have thought to use my bullet journal for that type of planning. While this Christmas wasn't horrible, my husband was the one left to do the bulk of the shopping because I was working 12 hour days, 5 days a week and I don't think I had time for anything. We didn't spend much because my husband bought the gifts, but I plan to change that this year. I want to send cards (picture postcards) and actually enjoy the holiday. I feel by planning now and throughout the year, I'll be better prepared. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
This was very helpful to me. I'm not sure how I missed this before one but I've had a few very stressful days and watching your channel helps to settle my restless mind! Thanks!
It may sound crazy, but as a crafter/creative type, I am planning on doing non-perishable Christmas crafts in July this year! And my family has a tradition of doing most of our cookie/trwat baking in October and then freezing it all so that come december, we just pull it out, frost anything that needs frosted, and we are good to go! Also, we draw names for Christmas, so that always happens at the LATEST by Thanksgiving so we can all start trading wish lists! Edit: One last note, if I do Christmas cards, they get written, stuffed, and addressed starting in August, just a few at a time, in my sparw time. Then come Thanksgiving weekend, all I do is drop them in the mail ❤
thx for making this... starting today to clear & put some things away so it is ready to decorate. Putting up the tree on No. 19th, just with lights NO ornaments yet: that will have to wait till Thanksgiving weekend so grandkids can decorate on Nov. 26th. Eat , Drink, and Be Ye Merry!!!!
Love your Christmas movie list!!! Die hard & Lethal weapon are at the top!! Also love The Ref (Dennis Leery), Emmett Otter's jugband Christmas, Better off dead (John Cusack)... Also some vintage ones like Little lord Fauntleroy (Freddy Bartholomew) & Harvey(Jimmy Stewart). 😄🌲
You are so right! It took a Canadian who doesn't celebrate American Thanksgiving to show us what we are missing out by waiting until after Thanksgiving to start Christmas preparations! We are so focused on Thanksgiving, Christmas just sneaks up on us! 😂
Making my Christmas Control Journal right now! November 28, 2021. Better late than never! 😁 I'm saving about 5 pages after each subject so hopefully I can use this notebook for the next 5 years. 🙌
Definite YES to the Spotify playlist please Robyn. :) Love the mind map concept, I will be using this method this year for sure (yes I'm watching Christmas themed videos in August haha).
Loved your ideas! Thanks for sharing. I requested the PDF from your link above and it never arrived by email. I would really like to have it. The website link to your website above also didn't work. Help!
Hey Tracy! Thanks for the reminder! I needed to update that page. Here is the link learn.minimalisthome.ca/Christmas_Checklist (I updated the link on the video too!). Thanks so much!
Hi again. I followed the link in the description box and I entered my email. Twice. I still didn't get the info in my mail since yesterday...can you please help? Thank you.
Genius!!! 🙌⭐⭐⭐ I will use a Google Doc instead of actually paper, I cannot handle much paper/journals.
Ooh! A girl after my own heart! That's why I don't call them printables like so many. Who needs extra paper hanging around?

I love that you used a mind map, even if it was not in the style Tony Buzan, from BC also, developed them. Great use for them!
