Brandon Rust is one bad dude! When it comes to feeding plants. I’ve really never seen anyone as good as him. He takes high knowledge and brings it down we’re a guy that has never heard this before understands it.
I'm not really the sharpest tool in the garden shed, but Brandon's explanations have made it possible for me to understand some fairly complex concepts in cultivation.
I noticed advanced nutrients ’flawless finish’ which they recommend to flush with along with just water is nothing but epsom salt.. mag sulf, but also had a small amount of mag edta presumably for shelf life/stability as a liquid which I see as a negative since edta is also in mayonnaise lol, so I been wanting to try using horticultural epsom salt in flush since is just mag sulf. Don’t mind dissolving it myself, plus advanced sells flawless finish saying it frees up salts built in the flowers to improve flavor. I’ve always used potash sulf to flush with since potash frees salts built in the root zone, doesn’t become a constituent in the flower, and aid the slowing metabolism as the plants life comes to an end. Using both may be the way to go and would increase sulfur for the stanky danky raunchy goodness I love
ive been adding epsom salts to my coco when starting out & rarely see a problem with magnesium but will try the folio spray on next run .. great knowledge thanks Brandon 😎
I add it to the soil as well, don't want to chance the corrosive nature of salt to eventually get into my equipment especially at twice a week that would add up.
I add epsom to my asparagus. The wild strawberries and domestic don't seem to mind it either. Decided if wild strawberries grew there I should companion plant and mix in domestic strawberries.
Would still love to know an approximate rate (tsp or Tbsp per gallon of soil) for a soil drench. I'm using this in flower, as I'm sure most people are, and as discussed it doesn't do much for you past day 21. Thoughts? Recommendations? Thank you!✌️💙🌱
I've noticed most horticulturalists, botanists, and plant scientists agree that using epsom salts in the garden isn't advisable but that most stoners in the cannabis community think it's great. Maybe there's a misunderstanding of the science 💚

Great information, love the full episode!
Thanks for this video. I use Epsom as a foliar sometimes and also like to spray it on my soil when I top dress. Seems to really kick up the mycelium.
EXCELLENT INFO
Thank you Chris for bringing Brandon and all the excellent information

You should be pushing cal/mag in coco, even a mix...I found out the hard way.
Hey good idea, i have 8 autoflowers just entering flower, can i spray also with newly forming buds?
Are they spraying the buds or just the leaves ?
Don't foliar very far into flower. I've asked him directly and said he wouldn't foliar and I was at day 30ish

Worrying about kelp in weed and your eating cereal and all other foods that government poisons you with is wild.
I use Jacks 3-2-1 and add Cal Mag. Since I run LEDs.
