Killer Klowns From Outer Space is my favorite movie of all time and the way the locations are there still today despite now being changed up a bit still blows me away :) i love it

Great seeing these locations ! I fell in love with this crazy, inventive and unique movie back in 87' and watch it often. Great seeing Grant Cramer - I only recently found out he produced and had had a cameo in Willy's Wonderland - another whacked out movie ! Fantastic channel Sean. Keep up the great work !
There was a time when I hated having to need all the details about something As I have grown older I have a better understanding of the need for as many details as possible
Not mentioned ( and you would have no reason to know this) is how bad that alley that was used in the biker scene smelled of piss. Also the first take of that shot, the first bike that takes off got lighting cords all wrapped up in the rear wheel and brought down many lights. That 2 min scene was shot between 7 pm ans 3 am.
A guy I know has the Clownzilla head from the climax. I kind of wish I had the severed head Tiny knocks into the trash can, I think the Chiodo’s still has it. Love the cast joining you. It’s so cool the car crash site is virtually unchanged over 30 years later. Was the hospital where the filmed the hillbilly’s house too?
Thanks for making, yet another, great video! I hadn't seen Killer Klowns From Outer Space until about a year ago. People, such as yourself, kept saying how it's a classic film, so I went out and bought it. It's silly, but that's why I really like it. :-)

Always kind of depressing to see how the world's been "cleaned up" so to speak since these old movies. It just doesn't seem as lived in anymore. Almost like IT was the false facade of a set.

Very cool, although was the El Dorado outlet definitely where the drug store used to be? Someone who made a similar video mentioned that the actual building where it was ended up getting leveled by the 1989 earthquake you mentioned, and is now just a parking lot too.
Yes it was verified with the owner of the store. Also everything inside matches up. I also verified it with the Chiodos. Unfortunately I think someone gave the Grimms bad info. It happens. I've been victim of it myself.

This definitely was a fine, underrated movie for certain also! Too bad they're still not letting people go into the gazebo it seems though.
@@freakyfornash I think it's because of the homeless problem they have there. That park where it is was filled with homeless. If it wasn't locked up it would be a homeless luxury penthouse.

Would be nice to see others be able to go inside of it to take pictures, videos, and what not again someday. That being since it obviously does have a bit of historical value also.

Also I had contacted Thor Van Lingen from the movie like 10 years ago about the bluray release at the time and he was pretty awesome.. be a cool person to get info from.
Top of the world is now a world class disc golf course, played it once and then found out later that one of the tees i tee'd off from is literally the TOTW shot from KKFOS after the fact...

I’d love to know how you made your start and how a guy in the Midwest Ohio unfortunately not California can pursue the same goals you’ve obtained?
I'm so happy that the buildings are pretty much the same structure as the film, just under new management. Most old buildings I've noticed have either been renovated big time or just torn down if no new business took them over.
I really wish they made a sequel to Killer Klowns finally. I know it was in the works a few years ago but got put back into the can; production issues, budget issues, network rights issues (SyFy channel). It's also my understanding that Suzanne Snyder who played Debbie decided to stop acting to focus on raising a family and I don't know what John Allen Nelson has been up to. Grant Cramer was the only original cast member who was slated to return. As I said, unfortunately the whole KKFOS (Killer Klowns From Outer Space) sequel seems to be permanently on hold. :/

The Lost Boys was also filmed mostly in Santa Cruz, but they changed the name to Santa Carla in the movie.

I been watching this film since 1988 millions of times. and I never noticed at 2:31 that he's sitting on a donkey lol.

I absolutely would but it would be a rights issue nightmare because of all of the clips.
You can find most of them on their respective Shout factory Blu-ray's luckily. Some you can still find for a decent price.
