Such a classic, and the game has been a BLAST as well! What's your favorite Cult B-Movie?
Killer Klowns
Repo Man
I will never watch Rocky Horror Picture Show. Fantastic movie. By all rights made Tim Curry a household name in America but I made the mistake of watching one time on LSD and I'm done with it now. Riff Raff can kiss my butt lol
@@blazinjedi2008 my mom told me of an experience like that with the Chevy Chase movie Foul Play with Goldie Hawn...
@@SparkleP8nter I followed that stunt up a couple months later with Jurassic Park 3 but this was in the theater this time. I only tripped a couple times after that.
This is one of the greatest B movies ever. Right up there with the Evil Dead trilogy.
Agreed. The cheesey comedy they have is unmatched. 👍
I don't think it fits the category of a b movie.
This one is silly by choise, the classic b movies are silly because they are genuinely bad, or because they had a showstring budget and no one in the production gave a f*ck.
This is a fun movie, but it is made as a homage to genuine b movies and it is way to well made to fit in that category.
The 70s is my favorite decade of film, but the 80s was just rife with ALL KINDS of craziness, this flick is just one example of the creativity filmmakers had ❤
The actors in the Killer Clown suits were at Scarefest horror convention. They were really cool guys. They brought some props from the movie, including one of the Clown heads.
Fun Fact: they took the clown heads from Killer Klowns and repainted them and used them for the trolls in Ernest Scared Stupid
I was searching the comments to see if anyone said this!
That’s wild. Loved earnest scared stupid. This movie freaked me out and now I know why that troll freaked me out lol
Ear Ernest scared stupid was a Halloween classic when I grew up in the nineties. But any Ernest movie was on repeat VHS. Never knew they were the same masks but on rewatch I can see it.
ARE YOU SERIOUS"?!?!?!
@@MindOfJigsaw1yeah they was the trolls
"What're ya gonna do with those PIES, boys?"
Fun Fact: The giant "King Klown" from the ending sequence, affectionately called "Klownzilla" by the Chiodo Brothers, was actually played by one of them (Charles Chiodo).
Budget Friendly Fact: The $2 Million budget went primarily on production costs. The clowns and visual effects were created almost entirely by the filmmakers at very little cost. The Klowns parts were detachable, thus creating an illusion of a large number of different Klowns.
Stunt SNAFU Fact: The scene in which a car is thrown over a cliff was initially intended to be far more spectacular - the car was to fly over the cliff and crash down to the ground. Unfortunately, the sling rope snapped because the effects crew members neglected to remove the stoppers from underneath the car's wheels. The result was what is seen in the final film, the car slowly tumbles over the edge and becomes caught on a tree.
Another movie with a great soundtrack would be critters from the year 1986. It features Johnny stieal with his hit single power of the night.
How dude getting his head punched off wasn't a "shut the f up" is beyond me 😂
This and Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes are pure cocaine cabinet gold 😂
this is better
The Chiodo Brothers must have been smoking some good stuff to come up with cotton candy cocoons and Killer shadow puppets 😂
This movie is an 80s classic. I gotta watch it every October.
That opening song has been burned into my childhood memories. That and some visuals from the "Invaders from Mars" remake, which I thought was some fever dream for years.
I have a 1990 GMC Jimmy still runs like a champ, with 250,000 miles on it.
Someone count how many times he said “shut the F up!” 😂
I didn't expect to see you react to this one, so this was such a good surprise! I really needed a good laugh, too, and you definitely delivered! I'm glad to see this weird movie getting more attention lately! Also, whatever you do, DON'T look up "The Sandown Clown"😨👽...
Bro, there's a reason this is a cult classic, it's the ultimate guilty pleasure movie. It never takes itself serious and it's so over the top and so bad, that you cannot help but like it. LOL
Want to get plastered? Take a shot every time he says stfu
The short clown with the bike is called Shorty..
I think you mean Jojo
@@chuppathingy2848 Nope, Jojo is the huge clown at the end.
I see you got your shirt! 😂 Love it, brother.
One of my favorite reveals is the zipper at 16:49
Always loved this movie and it wasn't until a couple years ago that I learned a cool fact that made me love it just a little more. One of my favorite comedians is Christopher Titus and he has a small part in this as a guy walking across the street, looks over, sees cops and just says "Pigs". Funny to me!
This is adult goonies meets gremlins vut semi horror style. Its fantastic.
Oh jesus this movie scared me more than any movie when i was real little
A JIMMY!!!! I said that out loud right as I saw it then you did lol my mom had one silver 2 door jsut like that one my whole childhood, oh man I’d love to find one now!!!
Finally! Somebody else wants that awesome straw!
I'm not saying they wouldn't get me, but if they did, they'd get me running away. They sure as hell wouldn't get me walking towards it or standing around. If I saw a real, living thing that looked like those clown aliens, I'd be running faster than I ever have in my life.
10:40 Puppy!
Great reaction j as always ❤
you aint seen a Jimmy in years because it was made by Chevy! lol what a classic movie i remember having seep overs as a kid, and renting this movie. I miss browsing around block buster or what ever mom an pop rental place. sometimes you would get a winner an some times you would get a loser... and sometimes you would get killer clowns!
Condolences on your ice cream revelation, thinking of you through these hard times. Feel better.
A classic I saw way too young and have loved ever since. It's ridiculous, the clowns are weirdly funny and kinda cute (at least Shorty), and the theme song rocks pretty hard.
This is one of my favorites.
I just started the reaction and I was wondering if you recognized the actress Suzanne Snyder. She is playing Debbie and also played Deb in weird science and also was Brenda in Return of the Living Dead part 2. She knows how to deliver the cheese.
Check out ICP(insane clown posse): if i was a serial killer. They use scenes from this classic. WHOOP WHOOP!
I forgot about the ending. That's real art.
Toxic Avenger is wonderful
I think the blonde pizza lady is Tommy Pickles.
This is a no joke awesome flick
They seem disturbingly fine with the deaths of all those town's people.
This movie was a lot scarier when I saw it in 1988 at the age of 8. ;-)
Im scared of clowns so this one was super creepy when i saw it as a kid. Now i see it and laugh at the absurdity 👍
The only clowns that didn't freak me out: how easy is it to beat them?! Break their noses.
But I had a recent nightmare where popping their noses did nothing 😭😱
I woke up like "....not....cool man.....not cool...at ...all"
So glad u watched this J. I first saw this on VHS at the age of 6 or 7 and I literally wore the tape out.
J, when you and blank have time, please and I mean please throw up that playlist you've been promising, "The C.C. Greatest's Of All Time"
I'd better see Killer Klowns and Gremlins 2 in there 🤞
FAVORITE
If you want to get weird, watch Little Shop of Horrors, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Maybe Attack of The Killer Tomatos, as well.
Havent seen this, should be fun!😊
This is the most corny and funny movie and it also has pop culture class following
I thought movie was stupid but how they killed the boss klown was kinda funny
This movie scared the shit out of me as a kid lol. More than and other horror movie and idk why. Maybe clowns
for those who dont know this movie is a COMEDY. it is not a horror or scary movie the whole intent was to spoof scary movie tropes.
Well this movie was completely off the STFU meter I think you’ll agree with me.
To answer your question,I can’t really pinpoint a single cult horror-B movie as being my favorite.Instead I have a list, and I will give them to you in no particular order,in hopes that you will watch, review, and enjoy them and maybe also spread the good word about them. They are:
Night of the Creeps
Turbo Kid
Psycho Goreman
Frankenhooker
Basket Case
Hausu(or House in English.A Japanese movie that I believe will become your new number one cabinet movie)
All about Evil.this, out of all these is the newest one I’ve seen and one I like to gab about to anyone who will listen becouse, yes I think it is that…damn….good!
And finally:Antibirth.
There may be some I’m forgetting but I believe I’m giving you enough to begin with.Have fun,and ignore whatever damage your mind may suffer as a result of viewing these films!
Well, we don't know where they came from, but we do know why. Food. Had to stock up.
You're right, the cop should have died...and, in fact, he did in the original ending. Test audiences didn't like it, so they shot a happier ending. The fact it made no damn sense wasn't important. Then again, what DID make sense in this movie?
Another door?!
Man i had to watch this sober oncw things got too normal it was wierd
Gen x classic here guys😂
I loveee this movie
I shimmy back
Hey, @EOMReacts, if you want a good cocaine cabinet movie, might i suggest Attack of the Killer tomatoes and its sequel
Just here for the cocaine cabinet Comments
would you see the japaneese version " Ju ON " ?? (The Grudge in English) Amainzing film!!!!! Would you???
Please react to The Blob (1988), it’s a really good movie!
Look at young Christopher Titus
Reaction request; Ernest Scared Stupid
Top three films all time
Not related, could we see the movie radio flyer at some point?
Makes ya think don't it think about where can i get some of this eeeeewwwweeee cause this is the good stuff I think i been getting like mid grade stuff and i don't know how you take this idea from your brain and you access to a camera and now we know this exist i want some I ain't going lie i want some of what ever created this
Is this supposed to some kinda space documentary of what happens the clowns come to earth cause I have a few question that i don't beleive the cocaine cabinet wiill comfain the answers its like cocaine is a hell of a drug but what is this like what is this
Why is spaced invaders the only movie to eat h after this movie where you will have less questions than normal after war hing a movie ita like I miggt have a few questions but i done seen killer klowns from outer space I got not more questions no more questioned I think its all easily explained now
Why do they think high schoolers at makeout point give a damn about the ice cream man. If you're bringing them alcohol, then ok
🤡🤡🤡👹👹
My stepfather introduced me to this movie as a double feature following Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.
Have you seen Return of the Killer Tomatoes?
This film was robbed of an Academy Award.
You're not going to make a dummy out of me! Proceeds to get turned into dummy
"Did that say crack house? That says crack house!"
😂😂
Crazy house!
The Lady Clowns got a unique "Key to the Plot" scene
Omg one of my childhood favorites can't wait to see your reaction.
"you gonna knock my block off?"
Don't know if you recognized her but the actress who played Debbie (Suzanne Snyder) was also in Weird Science. She played Deb, the girl that Gary (Anthony Michael Hall) hooks up with.
Oooh, I knew I recognized her mouth. Thx!
Fun fact that popcorn gun at the beginning cost $7000 to make and 6 weeks to build it making it the most expensive prop for them to make. Plus it was only usable for one use so they had to get the scene just right
One of the cheesiest yet most fun yet underrated movies of the 80s
Fun fact officer Mooney is played by John Vernon who played Dean Wormer in the movie animal house, Fletcher in the movie outlaw Josie Wales, and Larkin in the John Wayne movie Brannigan
I knew he looked familiar. I definitely remember him in Animal House.
He's done some memorable roles. Recognizable, distinct voice.
I remember him as Mr. Big in I'm gonna git you sucka and Ernest goes to camp
@@zipporahlewis4908 I absolutely forgot he was in Ernest goes to camp ❤️
One of my favorite cheesey horror movies! Creeepy 🍿🥤
The "cotton candy" is like a spider wrapping a fly in its spool of web
I am so glad you reacted to this one Jay, as an inspiring filmmaker, there's a big lesson I take away from this movie that even if your budget is low, your imagination shouldn't. For that reason alone is why even after 36 years, this movie has been a cult classic. Other b movies at this time or even now would spend way too much time on the characters explaining things to the audience and you seeing very little of the monsters doing said things, you don't get that with this, you get what you expect and even more. Some may look at these effects and say it's cheap but it has a charming and earnest qualitity you can't help but love, you feel the people who made this put their best efforts into it.
This is also a horror movie I love where the horror doesn"t come from the immediate kills/scares but when you stop and think about the grave implications. To think there's an advance race of aliens that can bend and warp reality to their will with their sole MO being they take great pleasure in toying and killing their preys just because they can is terriyfing.
Fun fact: Almost all except for one Klown have names. The one who shot the popcorn bazooka is Rudy, the one who Jason Voorhees'd the biker is Shorty, Shadow Puppetteer is Slim, the one drinking cotton candy is Chubby, and finally the klown that ain't shit and the first to die is Jumbo, just to name a few.
I love seeing your reactions and to keep it up, man ✌
"This is no fun house" im dying. Reminded me of Star Wars 😂 "Thats no moon..."
Also like Star Wars they used Matte Paintings for the giant room clown ship.
29:14 Murder Whistle, that does not say Crack house 😂 it says Crazy House
This is one of my all time favorite movies- i've always said they should remake it but actually make it super scary. Mooney is hands down my favorite character and has one of the best kills in the movie and one of the sole creepy parts. Such a banger!
I stumbled upon your channel a few days ago and I've binged many slasher Saturdays and other movie reactions you've put out. You've become my favourite reaction channel right now. Keep up the good work J! All the best!
I want to see a crossover Jason vs killer clowns from outer space 🚀 who wins ????
Fun facts the klown costumes were later reused in other things. Klownzilla was used in the Ghostbusters Universal Studios attraction. And some of the klowns were also reused in Ernest Scared stupid.
They was smokin that oooooweee when they made this movie. lol
Killer Klowns from Outer Space is such a Classic! my favorite is Shorty the clown, He definitely can Knock Anyone's Block off 😃🤣 🥊🤡🥊The theme song is one of the greatest songs from the 80's. I need to play the game soon, i did enjoy the Friday the 13th game. I love to have a sequel to this film and hope it's good too. Great Reation EOM!
There's some pretty f*cked up Euro and Japanese cult films (especially in the 70's) but American ones, 'I Spit on Your Grave' 1978 and 2010 are pretty good.
They should have made a part 2
Evening,if you can stomach these clowns, you'd be busting your gut over serial Mom
One of Matthew Lillard's most subdued roles 😅
BTW, as i'm watching this i just noticed your subscribers is at 66.6K. 🤡 👹
I love the balloon dogs. Such a crazy movie.
Technically the clowns were turning them into smoothie using g the cotton candy
I saw the punk band who did theme song a couple times in the 80's, The Dickies.
This movie is a masterpiece, anyone who says otherwise is wrong
Speaking of the soundtrack: composer John Massari released an updated soundtrack album with help from Bear McCreary and the Dickies
