Word is that one of the imagineers in charge of the S.E.A has also been hired to oversee production of the Jungle Cruise movie, so we will likely find some more nods hidden in that movie.
Apparently on the bookshelf at the Skipper Canteen, there's a book title- Everest Expedition: Search for the Yeti which is written Harrison Hightower III himself. Now of course this is reference to Expedition Everest and Imagineer Joe Rhode but this also gives confirmation that the ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom is in fact canon to the Society's story.

Dear "Ms. Girl", FYI. The place you keep refering to that was on PLEASURE ISLAND (R.I.P.) was "the AdventurerS Club" .... more than one Adventurer, as in MANY, AdventurerS. When you Google the name of the "Cloob" the first thing that comes up is the Wikipedia page link and a photo of the building's facade, with the name carved in stone into the arch overr the entrance: "ADVENTUERS CLUB"
This whole thing would definitely make an amazing movie or television series. And I think I've got some casting ideas.
