3:28I think you should separate the scrap from the rest! our small contribution as mechanics to the environment and the bicycle as sustainable transport.
this is by far my favorite video you did, it's a really sweet workshop, plenty of nice parts and tools everywhere this is starting to look like a museum !
Such a chill vibe with everything, loving it. Workshop related question maybe? What would be your "home mechanic kit" of choice to have an easier time maintaining/putting together track/fixed gear bikes? Not necessarily in terms of, get this or that brand, but general useful tools, Keep the content going :D
Damn I’ve wanted one of those disc wheels for a single speed I’ve had forever. I’ve put a 5 spoke on the front but the rear discs are just so expensive. I’ll end up going to Bunnings and getting some think plastic and I’ll make up a set myself.
Haha I’ve seen a few of those home made style discs before and some aren’t that bad! Worth a go to see how it looks. Sometimes older discs will pop up a lot cheaper, but generally yeah discs are usually quite expensive. Just keep looking and one will pop up eventually! Managed to pick both these up fairly cheap
@@waveywheelies I actually bought a set of wheel discs like you used to be able to get for BMX, but for a 700c wheel or near enough to it, they make them for horse gigs, for racing trotting horses, but the problem is they’re dished too much to go the wheel and fit inside the frame. They’re more like a mountain bike wheel, and I could probably cut and section it and heat it and shit but I may as well buy a few pieces of perspex and have a nice set made properly.
do you have any tips to start building and selling bikes, having this kind of workshop and getting the chance to work with so many interesting and rare components sounds like a dream. i love you builts!
I do similar stuff, I just don’t TH-cam. The biggest thing I can advise is when you start out, you need to get your projects as cheap as possible, and you need to decide what price range you’ll be selling at, and set a budget for your builds. Things can get really expensive if you replace bearings and bolt ons, and then paint every bike. Also every bike can’t be saved. Sometimes a 30yo Kmart brand bike isn’t worth spending a week on, it’s just good for parts. Save your parts, label them, clean them, and even keep an inventory of what you have. I like to build different stuff, like vintage bikes, and rebuild retro mountain bikes and stuff, so it takes me a while to sell my bikes, because they’re not something everyone likes, but in saying that, I like to be different
Dude you should see what I found, lol. I was buying a bike from a dude on Gumtree classifieds and asked if he had spare parts, he just said yep, so I took a wheel I needed rebuilding, but it was super old and needed specialty parts I didn’t have, and I told him of a build I was planning. I got to his house and in the front lawn, say, 2m x I guess 10m, easily 250 bikes. Mostly complete, some damaged, some parts, and the guy is really cheap. He fixed my wheel for free, $10 for a pair of 26” steel wheels, $25 for a klunker frame, I’m basically going to get all the parts for my dream build for maybe $100, and then I’ll just paint it.
Dayum got 2 sets of omniums just laying around. But a question, my front wheel is true and perfectly aligned but it's not centered in my forks no matter how I adjust it it aint centering. What should I do?
Hmm a few things it could be, make sure it’s dished properly, if it’s dished and true then it can only really be your forks, or how the axle is sitting in the drop outs. Forks could be bent, drop out could be bent, axle might not be sitting fully in the drops? Check that they slide in nicely. Also test another wheel in the forks if you can, that will tell you if it’s the wheel or the forks that’s the problem. Hope that helps
A full workshop tour would be cool, maybe some history behind it as well ?

Awesome chill vibes on this video. Fuji looks great with the carbon wheels, would definitely turn heads riding down to the dairy
Cheers man! yeah totally agree, just need to chuck a few extra bits on it and take it for a spin!

The whiteboard is a nice touch. Adds light to your shop and is handy for reminders, too.
Love the workshop! Beautiful bunch of parts laying around. Vibes are great as usual in this one
Nice video, what could be more relaxing than a few hours re-organising the workshop - good for the soul !
Such a chill vibe with everything, loving it.

What do you do for a living?
the fact you leave the tea bag in when you put the milk in is criminal
New here but this video makes me wish I had a garage. How do you go about organizing your spokes?
I´ll show this video to my mum next time she says I have too many bikes and parts lying around!🤣
Be cool, if you explained how you got started bike repairin/buildin?
Single Speed with Drops or Flats? Gear Ratio 40/15? Need to do some climbs. What do you think?
All those omniums😍😍
im suprised you didnt use spaner to mix da bag in the cup
You could fix my bike. Bike shop in Indy has had my wheels for a simple hub seal install for two weeks now. Smh
Hi !
I have a question ! what is the name of the cat ?
Otherwise, nice workshop.
Do you ever sell the builds?
You have a lot of parts of all types of bikes
Omnium stash is looking v healthy
really cool video, man! is this your job like bike mechanic or just hobby?
thanks man! yeah it’s just a hobby, I do also work in a bike shop though
Your Workshop kind of bike heaven) you only repair bicycles for customers or also do bike flipping?

It’s just grease
So many om noms.
Your work shop is immature I’m my lord, also love all your tools but especially that sick vintage logo maker! Need one a a small tools box

instead of a 24mm spanner on your bb removal tool why not buy an 1/2 Breaker bar? much less likely to slip off and hurt yourself too
I cannot imagine the price of that 3spoke wheel beeing "s" (recently they fired their CEO because he didn't raise enough their prices)
Workshop? We can bring our bikes in for an upgrade ?
So it’s you hoarding all the omniums
That’s fine suginos are better
is this your bike shop i mean you fix others bikes ?
Can I buy the omnuim 😂
Who tf installs a rear track axel with only freewheel threads on a sugino rear disc, sacrilege
Second comment finally .. keep kiw kiw
Can you please give me a present?😢I don't go to buy😢
Can i have some chains🥹
Way to milk views out of absolutely nothing.
