the Kraken has worser build cuz the leather will wear put average 2-3 years and the sound quality is also worse but the mic is a wayy better quality than the corsiar ones

Your video ultimately made me push to buy the Kraken X headset after mine unfortunately broke. I have a very cheap budget and was mainly looking for a good mic as I always got complaints on my last headset. After hours of researching for decent headsets within my range of 50 dollars, I was able to decide that this was perfect for me. Thank you so much for making this video. I can’t wait for my new headset to arrive in a couple days.

Well what a pleasant surprise, I was actually thinking about getting a new headset but didn't know what to pick so this definitely helps.
I have big head and I have HS50,
IMO HS50's cramping force is too high.
If you have big head like me, avoid it.
Not sure if they adjusted for HS35 though.

@@ajf4693 I had the headset for a good 2 years and it never happened, but then it just randomly started happening, If you put ur volume even a bit higher than average the mic will pick up the volume from the headset
dogeguy17 I was looking for a solution on google and found that you should turn down a notch on the headset volume if that don’t work turn down 2 notches. On the audio settings tho, where you have headset, mix chat and mic monitoring. I’ll see if it works today cause I fixed it yesterday late night

@@abrahamyyyv2154 It's good for the price, although it can take some getting used to. The main thing for me is that the cups can get kind of warm. It's still an improvement over my apple ear buds lol...I can finally hear foot steps and different sounds around me. The Mic is ok, I use it to make some phone calls and people say my voice is crisp. I had one game where the person I was playing with said they could barely hear me tho, so idk I think it's the game. All in all can't complain.

both are good but the thing i dislike about these two is that the mic is not retractable , having a removable one is not really necessary especially when i want a mic instant or not

had the corsair for 2 years. the plastic starts to crack around where the speaker meets the band. it was pretty comfy though.

Only issue with kraken x in my opinion is the mic isnt removable.
The corsair is basically better for some points that he didn't talk about, the microphone is basically largely better than what we can hear on. Kraken X breaks really easily ( before 1 year of usage it already broken for most of the users ) and some problems appears fastly just some weeks after the purchase of it compared to the corsair which can have a great durability. I would choose the corsair for that 2 arguments because they are primordial for some guys that want to buy a headset for some years without any problems

I hate when microphones sound like a pilot's mic. That's why I am going with the Kraken X. I am also getting the USB version because I've heard mic tests from both USB and non-usb and the USB version sounds a little more clear.
In my country it is the other way around the kraken are cheaper thanks for the comparison it helped me a lot and I wanted to buy some new headset

i have a suggestion, you might want to try the redragon zues, it has the same, if not better mic quality, a detachable mic and a detachable cable. it is around $60 but it frequently goes on sale for around $50
Let me drop my honest review about the Kraken X. So I've decided to go with it after watching reviews comparing budget headsets cause overall the Kraken X had better sound and mic, and it looks dope. I was really happy with my purchase, was the best headphones I've ever had. But the only problem is, even though it looks solid and seem to have great build quality, it breaks easily. The past 2 years I've bought the Kraken X twice. I was already aware why it was cheap, some people have said it breaks easily and I refused to believe it and I used with utmost care. Until it happened to me. Basically I broke the headband for both Kraken X from wear and tear, not accidental. Like from prolonged use of bending the headphones caused it to just slowly breaking apart. Other than that, the headband's cushion and ear cuffs were torn so easily within months. It's sad, I really reaally love the headset but I know I can't keep buying the same headset and breaking it and go through this non-stop cycle of hoarding broken Kraken X every year. So I think I'm gonna go ahead and try out the Corsair HS35, has pretty similar quality but I dig the fabric cushion it seems more comfortable and lesser chance of tearing. Seems like the oy downside with it is the mic, I gotta admit it's not great and makes you sound like a pilot lol. But doesn't really matter to me cause I have a Razer Siren Mini microphone. I am a big fan of Razer products and I wanted my peripherals to be all Razer, cause I have the mouse, mic, and mousepad but sadly the Kraken X couldn't last long enough. I'll have to bid farewell to it and get a different pair.

I had the hyperX stinger it is super good and i would recommend it. I have not had the kraken X but i am looking to buy it after by hyper x headphone jack snapped when i dropped my phone while i had if plugged in. I would get the kraken x over the cloud stinger because the kraken x has an insane mic

Just be careful. For example my little brother keeps annoying me and slapping me on my head causing me to get startled and drop my headphones and sometimes the cord gets tangled around my foot and when I get up they again fall down. Not tlsking about any of these headsets here tlsking about my 10 euro one. But yeah for someone like me I would have to be really strict with my brother and really careful with the cable because I don't the kraken x lasting a week haha XD. That's why I'm going for the kraken x lite which cost almost 15 euro less. They are the exact same only thst the lite is lighter and has no voice wheel or mute button but if you don't mind that, I would recommend the kraken x lite over the regular kraken x

the corsair hs50 looks like its high quality because it has metal parts, but it breaks easily and the ear cups suck. i got my hs50 in april and its already broken, and im gonna buy a kraken x now

the razer is better than the corsair but as i have a kraken x rn it broke in is 8 months, so in long term use it not going to last as long as the corsair for sure
