I love that Razer is introducing cheaper variants. But the retractable microphone is something that I'll miss.

Just bought this headset and it is amazing. Very comfortable and light weight. Sounds amazing and the mic is very good. And for $50 this is a steal. It even comes with surround sound.

Found you from searching for reviews on the razer peripherals quartz pink set. I came back to see more reviews and decided to watch this one too , I think the quality of your videos are really good and hope your channel grows as it looks as the other professional ones that do reviews on tech products , plus your personality feels genuine and you come across as down to earth and humble, which to me is a very nice touch. As for the razer Krakens, I think they are really nice , I love matte and all black accessories. I was looking at both the pink quartz and these , and to me the black ones are just perfect because they are not too flashy and just all black which is a color that goes with everything. The mic is a little bit groggy but not too bad as they sound decent and can be hidden to not have it bothering you when you dont want to talk on it (laughed on the part where you said that you can be talking for an hour and realize it's on mute xD) . And for the price I think they are at an ok range , I'm hoping one day I can get my hands on one of these. Blessings to you and thanks for your content 👏

Was surprised that despite it being a budget headset it still had that premium look!

Seems Pretty nice for the Price and It's Pretty cool that Razer is now selling high-quality budget peripherals.
I think the Kraken X is amazing... I don't own one to be able to use it for myself, but by watching this video in particular really helps me to understand the quality that razer puts into their products, despite this one being on the cheaper end of the spectrum.
The sound and Mic quality are Great, but the build quality is absolutely terrible
I find it really generous that Razer finally decides to make a good headset at that price. My wallet can finally breathe.

jus copped this headset for $30, the 7.1 surround sound bonus code made this thing sound 10x better. I've had a pair of Turtle Beach Recon x50's for about 3 years now, but a sudden upgrade to this headset made me love Razer to its fullest. 10/10 will definitely buy from this company again

I've been looking in getting these gaming headphones because there so light weight and comfortable. The mic is really good which as online gamer I use alot. I definitely would like to obtain one of these. Btw just discovered your channel great review.
It looks pretty good especially for $50. Seems like a good headset and mic seems good aswell.
So i currently use the HyperX cloud stinger for 2.5 years now and was looking for a budget upgrade , but in India these headset cost around 70$ which is way out of my budget :( Good and precise review
I think these would be a much better pair than the other Krakens for carrying around for daily life. I wouldn't want the other Krakens in a travel bag without a case and these seem pretty good even for office work and conference calls.
I clicked the video already knowing that there was a giveaway cuz thats how awesome Brainbean is lol. I think that the Kraken X looks good especially for the price, but the no light on the mic is a bit disappointing since I always want to know when my mic is on.
Looks good, also happy to see that Razer is finally doing something for people on a budget (Razer Kraken X, Razer Blackwidow Lite, Razer Cynosa, etc...)
I currently use my cheap af headphones bought from a cheap store, I tried the Razer Kraken X and they sound amazing. If I had the money, I would definetly spend the money on this.

The Kraken X imo is definitely a solid headset but it could be better if the mic were retractable lol. Also could you check out the Steelseries Arctis 9X and the HyperX Cloud Mix and then do a comparison between the two? I'm thinking of getting a new headset that's why.

Not sure abt controller.. But on mobile we are used to press the bottom of Jack against out body or desk.. Which maybe damaged it

Our family you know like isn't that financially good and I am loving how they are making things more affordable and I love how u are doing the mic test so I know if I want to get them or not since that is like the maim thing that I use
My son just recently bought the head set and is having challenges using it. Where does the long cord plug into? He does not have a computer, he is usung the tv and he has a PS4. Any and all suggestions are welcomed

Nice headphones, clean design. The retractable microphone isn't even a major drawback.
is there anyway to adjust the mic, I've been told my voice sounds deeper than it really is.. I'm not sure how to fix it? When I hear myself echo on a game it sounds so different than my actual voice and it's super frustrating
Does anybody has problems with the mic? I bought a headset online and the mic was to short and i couldnt talk now i am afraid that it also on this headset i would like to buy it in a shop were i can try it but lockdown ends in 2 weeks and thats to long

I have this headset and for some reason the microphones volume output is very Inconsistent, it sounds normal then half way through the sentence it drops low for a second then back to normal. It also sounds muffled. If anyone knows how to fix this please reply cheers.

Recently got my Razer Kraken X, but not sure if it's like this originally but the microphone for me is very quiet, friends on Discord can barely hear what I'm saying at times. Been messing around with the Realtek Audio Manager and the Sound Panel in the Control Panel, and I still don't notice any difference, anyone got any recommended solutions?

I was about to buy my brother a razer kraken 7.1v2 but the Razer kraken x has made me think twice. Just seems great overall!
The Kraken X is a very good headset, it also has a better mic than a lot of other premium expensive headsets. It also looks very comfortable.

Please respond to me ! I recently bought a Kraken X USB and sometimes my headphone s are not working (no lighting and no sound) i got 7.1 surround enabled and installed and razer synapse 3 when i restart the Pc the headphones are working perfectly!
never buy headphones with usb connector.. the 3.5mm jack is much much better

Laniboy yes I tested it against my iPad and it’s really good. Crisp and clear. It’s not like a throusand dollar mic but it’s still amazing for the price point

This headset is very great for the price, nice to see razer selling budget friendly headsets maybe it will change the "overpriced" perspective that alot of people have about razer
I own a electra v2 and kraken x and I would recommend the electra v2 although my mic quality is worse than the kraken x but the audio sounds way better on the electra and it also doesn't look as pleasing as the kraken x
