Just bought this headset and it is amazing. Very comfortable and light weight. Sounds amazing and the mic is very good. And for $50 this is a steal. It even comes with surround sound.
Found you from searching for reviews on the razer peripherals quartz pink set. I came back to see more reviews and decided to watch this one too , I think the quality of your videos are really good and hope your channel grows as it looks as the other professional ones that do reviews on tech products , plus your personality feels genuine and you come across as down to earth and humble, which to me is a very nice touch. As for the razer Krakens, I think they are really nice , I love matte and all black accessories. I was looking at both the pink quartz and these , and to me the black ones are just perfect because they are not too flashy and just all black which is a color that goes with everything. The mic is a little bit groggy but not too bad as they sound decent and can be hidden to not have it bothering you when you dont want to talk on it (laughed on the part where you said that you can be talking for an hour and realize it's on mute xD) . And for the price I think they are at an ok range , I'm hoping one day I can get my hands on one of these. Blessings to you and thanks for your content 👏

jus copped this headset for $30, the 7.1 surround sound bonus code made this thing sound 10x better. I've had a pair of Turtle Beach Recon x50's for about 3 years now, but a sudden upgrade to this headset made me love Razer to its fullest. 10/10 will definitely buy from this company again

I think these would be a much better pair than the other Krakens for carrying around for daily life. I wouldn't want the other Krakens in a travel bag without a case and these seem pretty good even for office work and conference calls.

hello! i had this headset for a while, maybe 1-2 years max and as any cheap headset, it does break after a while the bands you use to lengthen the band both snapped and got stuck in place, and the band sort of snaps after a while aswell its good for its price, but if youre looking for a long term headset this isnt the go to!!

RE: 5:58 mic test, I really have a problem with my microphone with Kraken X. My voice can be recorded exactly the same to that in terms of clarity but the volume is too low. I've already installed the 7.1 driver and did all windows troubleshooting guide and when I speak, the bar only goes up a little bit although the microphone level is already at 100%. I have just started using it in a PC using the free mic/audio splitter. When I was using it in a laptop, it was fine. I'm posting here because I don't know now where else I can ask. I think I've tried all those in articles. I hope someone here knows how to resolve my problem :( Thank in advance
Go to control pannel/sound/recording/your mic Search for volume and be sure its 100%, also amplification +10db, try, if you need extra, do +20, don't abuse extra db as it may sacrifice quality, hope it helped
@@Anonymous-si5ig heyy thank you so much for taking time to read my problem and give suggestion. i actually already tried this in control panel but whenever i increase the db there, i hear white noise, so i didnt go with that. but! i just recently found out that increasing the db from the "realtek audio console app" settings has improved! my friends can now hear me clearer than before in discord. it just needs more tweaking though in some games. thanks again!
i have a problem with my non usb kraken x which is if i put my volume loud enough, the mic will catch everything from my pc (game, discord, spotify). and if i mute my mic using the button from the headphone it still catches the sound from the windows but my voice doesnt get in the mic. do u hv the same problem? can u help me?
The Kraken X imo is definitely a solid headset but it could be better if the mic were retractable lol. Also could you check out the Steelseries Arctis 9X and the HyperX Cloud Mix and then do a comparison between the two? I'm thinking of getting a new headset that's why.

i think for a budget friendly headset thats a great specs but like you said its difficult to know if the mic is on or off, i prefer to know if the mute is on or not, cause sometime i often snag the cord of my razer kraken and it switches to mute and i know its mute because the switch indicated that my mic is mute. also wish they have a variety of colors for this, and i like to roll my mic in cause i dont want to ruin the cord of the mic, its also nice to roll it back when its not in use goodluck everyone

It seems really nice and probably better than my headset because it's light and comfortable. I also like the simple colors and sound isolation. Good mic but I dont use headset mic. But I would buy it if wasn't broke and will use it if I win this thing :)

Nice headphones, clean design. The retractable microphone isn't even a major drawback.
Honestly that mic blows me away for that price point. I’ve heard $100+ sets that sound super nasally. Really great option for a budget buy.

nope not at all . its perfect . extremely comfy i can use it 10 hours a day and barely even notice its there . i definitely recommend this headset .
