I picked up mine a few days ago, on the 11th of August. Like you stated, I found that the bike has been very comfortable with tons of torque and instant throttle response. I'm not into big/heavy bikes anymore and this bike is a dream to ride around and just blast. I do agree about the adjustable suspension, but the stock OEM suspension seems to be tuned well all things considered.

@@scandimc 890 duke? Tja.. KTM er jo mest for kidsa. Triple er Engelsk og trenger ikke si noe mer. MT10 er vel den eneste jeg liker av de du nevner. Monster er damesykkel og hadde aldri kjøpt Monster om jeg hadde fått den billig. Z900 er ok. Suzuki S1000 og Bmw S1000R er toppen av Kaka. Men, er ikke så begeistret for Naken, for mye vind. Kjørt en del Kawa S 1000 og den hadde så mye kraft at jeg merket ikke engang jeg hadde passager. Satt godt, mye plass. Ypperlig på weekendtur. Men, bare for å råne rundt i sentrum og litt småturer. Derfor ble det en 750R. Skulle jeg kjøpt ny i dag? Da hadde jeg kjøpt Fazer 1000. Har alt. 😉
monster is nice but when i drive one i see engien become relly hot seems that problem on the monster only thing i miss on the Plus edition is i like to se öhlin shocks like the Ducati supersport S have the ducati supersport s have same tech and engien as monster have but more comfy and fairings
Yes you can stick to the urban mode, but I would not have the self control to stick with that for a year or so. Its very torqy and really fast from low revs.
@@scandimc self control vs economical common sense;) the fact is that if someone is silly he will hurt himself even on 125cc bike… personally I’ve got nothing against buying it as a first bike as at least you will get a bike which you won’t get bored of for next feeew years and you always will have that option to tweak it bit more once you will get more skills and confidence;)
@@pchzl Yes it makes more economical sense, but buying a used 650cc or so is much more safe for beginners I think atleast. You should not have a expensive and fast bike as your first bike in my opinion. Its much easier to learn on the smaller bikes and its a big chance you will drop or crash your first bike. This is just my opinion, since everyone say they will ride slow and learn on the bigger bikes, but the case is that most people dont, since the adrenaline rush on the bigger bikes is a hell of a drug😉

I just bought this exact bike!! I drove it 5 miles and fell in love with it, it weighs nothing, hella torque, great suspension and the looks 😍

Congrats! Yep its a good enough setup stock, but I think it would struggle a bit on track, therefore I will keep my panigale instead✌️

I noticed in various reviews that the front gets very light. In yours too. Do you think a steering damper is a must addition?
It gets light but thats a part of the fun factor with this bike, I wouldnt get a steering damper✌️

Kulere utseende messig hvis man liker retro looken, men monster har bedre sportslige kjøreegenskaper, mer krefter og passer derfor mitt bruk bedre 👍🏻

You can get the monster 950 SP, full ohlins ;)
Don’t buy it as a first bike? Why? To powerful? Just stick it into the urban mode. Once you will get used to it U can switch to commute mode
