Great question-sorry for the delayed reply! Our Extreme Water Separator (XWS) is designed to act as dam-absorbing over 99% of the water found in diesel fuel. In cases of extreme water contamination, the XWS will swell to the point of shutting the truck down-which prevents water from reaching the injection system. In milder cases of water contamination, you'll notice a slight but gradual drop in fuel pressure (if you're running a gauge) as the XWS becomes saturated. To be clear, both scenarios are VERY rare, but can save you thousands of dollars worth of injection system repairs.
Great question, and you'd want to start the priming process over again. If you have any further issues please reach out to our service team at 636-433-5410. We are open from 7-7cst.
Can anyone verify if i can or should remove my engine bay oem fuel filter along with the spring & check ball in order to not put undue strain on the cp3 pump. I have a 2024 ram 2500 Cummins. Thx!
How do you know when they are plugged after you get bad fuel?

What mileage is the change interval for the XL filters on titanium sig series (6.7L Cummins)?
Appreciate you asking, and typically we suggest changing those filters every 30k miles or 1yr whichever comes first.
Thank you for the video, how did you not get diesel all over your hand when priming the system? What's your trick 😁
You bet! And that's a great question-Josh has probably done this a few hundred times at this point!
But which filter is for the water and which one is for the diesel
PF-3001 is the particulate filter, and the XWS-3002 is our water separator.
What happens if I loosen the wrong Fass fuel filter? I accidently loosened the back one and not the front. Now the engine won't turn over.

Fass is badass. I run a 165 on my lml duramax. Very good product.
Thank you very much!!!

I installed a pressure gauge after the filters. When pressure drops to below recommended minimum pressure to pump, time to change!!
👊👊
I have found it easy to simply fill the filters with fuel before installing them. Enjoyed the video though.
Thank you for all the info!
Fass builds good stuff
We appreciate you! 👊
