Excellent, thank you so much. The balcony is why we are considering also. My concern is the ship movement in the rear. I have never been aft area.
Not much movement in these suites...we've sailed in them twice.

great vid! we will have this cabin down on deck 9 in July - have heard it may be noisy being over Summer Landing but i myself dont think i would have an issue considering i lucked out getting it by checking on a whim to see if it had come available. i count myself lucky to have gotten it so plan on enjoying it thoroughly!
You’re going to enjoy the room, no matter what deck. Being higher and you could hear The Bolt and lower you can possibly hear people but we chose to focus on the NICE balcony! 😜😜😜
How did you get the cabin? Did you just call Carnival or can you book it online?
@@nitabowman2318 actually on a whim I decided to check online to see if any aft cabins were available whether just regular aft or on the slim chance one of the suites - 9504 showed as available and I called just to make sure because I didn't believe it lol so I probably just lucked out right when someone cancelled. The only other way I can figure to get one is maybe just book as far out as possible - which would also give u more time to pay the fare
Idk that I would have chosen the suite if I had booked a regular aft to start with - I initially had a front facing balcony, then had switched to an ocean suite, then to a front corner suite which is supposedly pretty windy up there and that balcony just looked so narrow Im pretty sure I wouldn't have liked it
I booked this very room for February 2023 and I’m so excited ! Can you tell me if the room is very sound proof ? I’m a light light sleeper and I’m hoping being 4 levels up from the pig and anchor (deck 8 ) festivities I won’t be able to hear anything that would disturb me too late or wake me in the morning too early !
There’s not a lot to hear on the very aft of the ship other than your neighbor’s balcony and the balcony below you. But it’s very infrequent when you hear either of them and that’s only when you’re on the balcony itself.
As for being in the room, you don’t hear anything, not even the room announcements! 😂😂😂
Great video.I just finished watching your presidential suite video and I think this room might be better. The only thing missing is the fireplace on the balcony. How was the ride during sailing in the aft?
From our perspective, it's a smoother ride in this cabin. You feel all of the ship's movements in the PS, so that can be a little much to absorb.
Question: you upgraded but they did not include a drink package?
I love the tour through the cabin would love to take cruise although I've taken cruises in Alaska presently living in victoria b c my name is John Henderson enjoy vision of the seas cruise ship , my sister is taking cruise

This is a very helpful review. I just finished your presidential suite review also. I'm trying to decide which to book on the new Celebration next summer. Which do you prefer, the Aft suite or the presidential?
Without a shadow of doubt, the Aft Suite is better than the presidential!
Can you go to the havana area with this room?
I have this cabin booked in June, but no one mentioned Unlimited laundry service, nor room service at no additional cost! Who do I contact to confirm and ensure I receive this benefit 😂😂😂
I noticed there is a pool area, bar, big screen TV's with outdoor speakers, and a restaurant with live band, right outside and underneath these cabins. Was this a concern during the trip? How was the noise level?
Didn't hear the noise AT ALL! And we sat on the balcony each night!

No. There is a pullman bed in the living room but not one above the jacuzzi.
What size does the sofa bed convert to …we have this booked in October with 3 people total
I think it converts to a Queen but check the description on Carnival’s website. We didn’t extend the bed within the sofa.
i want to book this room for a group of 4. did you have any problems/unnecessary payments trying to book this room for 2?
No problems booking this suite, at all. Four passengers should be easy.

From what we saw, the best deals are extended to Diamond members. Check with Carnival or a travel agent but remember these suites book extremely fast!
Considering this cabin is Double the price of an ocean suite do you feel like the splurge is worth it?
Hands down, the splurge is worth it, especially when you factor in all of the complimentary amenities that come with the Excel cabins. Complimentary room service (the entire menu), complimentary laundry service (no limit on the amount) which comes in very handy given there aren’t any laundry facilities on the ship and very few ironing rooms, and most importantly, you have your own lido deck off your room. No more fighting over poolside chairs, hot tub seats, towels, or dining tables when all of these items are right off of your living room/bedroom.
If you’re ever considering booking one of these cabins, DO IT! Then let me know your thoughts, seriously!

@@ntaylo7648 do not feel guilty at all but rather, enjoy the hell outta the cabin! YOLO and you’re going to have a ball! Full disclosure, we returned Sunday, April 16, from our 3rd cruise on the Mardi Gras and again, we sailed in another Excel Corner Aft Suite 14517.

I apologize for the delayed response as I see you have the answer already. However, the unlimited room service menu is quite wonderful…especially around 2am! Or right before disembarking at one of the ports!
