I was on the Panorama (sister ship to Horizon) in March 2022, in an interior. I'm 6'2 like Bob, and I'm also large . The shower was just fine. I also wear a Cpap, I got the popular plug with extra usb ports, it worked perfectly.
I've watched a ton of videos about the Horizon this is the first I've seen about the adjustable shelf and removable bar in the closet. So glad I found your channel!

Thank you for explaining the card having to be in the slot for things to work. Going on Horizon next year and have balcony room on that deck. I would have pulled my hair out trying to figure out why things weren't working. No other tour videos I've watched have mentioned this feature AT ALL.

I guess I'll bring my Royal SeaPass card for the slot. I hate having to put my current card in the slot every time. Glad anything works.
@@gwcrispi we bring our hotel card and use that.
I've heard that those gift cards can be used too (grab one from a store like Walmart, and just don't put any money on them).
We use a magnet clip attached to the card to keep the lights on. This way you pull it out and stick the card just above.
Great video!!! I have a cpap hack for you when you are in a Vista class ship. In the center of Master bed there is two 220 European outlets that is used for the lamps. You can snag one for the cpap. You just need a European plug adapter. ❤

Great room tour, we have magnetic hooks that we use to put the extension cord on the ceiling. I don’t like it on the floor. We have 2 CPAP machines to power.

First video I've seen of yours, and oh how I wish I'd have found you before my first cruise last year! You thoroughly showed everything in the room, including the bathroom! I watched sooo many videos trying to "plan" my bathroom and closet organizations, and this video would have helped so much! Too many people assume you know "the little stuff", and they skip right over it. You nailed it! And I learned some things that I didn't know but will use use on my next cruise! Well done! Thank you!

A family member told me that they just unplug one of the lamps, and use that plug for their CPAP, so they don't have a cord going across the floor. Not sure if they still need the extension cord.

Non-surge protector if you are using a strip. Otherwise, any extension cord will work!

I prefer the regular door to the balcony. Those sliding doors are clunky and make tons of noise.

As long as you have adjoining rooms, yes! Not all cabins are adjoins though.

Do the night stand lamps have USB ports?
No they do not on this class of ships.
I have a room for 4 on the 8th deck husband and kiddos. Will my kiddos sleep on the bed you showed? I heard some have pull down beds.
Some do have pull down beds, yes. Wil you having 4 in your room, I’d bet on it. Do you have your cabin number? You can search for it online and it will give you the exact layout of your cabin. 😊

Unfortunately no, water and soda are not included in the drink package.
Hello I have 2 questions. 1. are you allowed to bring your own hair dryer and 2. are there outlets in the bathroom?
Hello! Yes, you can bring your own hairdryer but they provide one. There is only an outlet in the bathroom for shavers.
why do you need a card to use the air? do they charge you?
No they don’t charge you for using the air. The thought process around it is that you put your key card in when you’re in your room and when you leave you take your card with you and it shuts off to conserve.
