Oh wow Rich! That’s what’s up. I paused the vlog only to clean my screen & every time I love it, my 360 view of the room changed (mind you while the vlog is on pause). Technology is amazing!

Noticed the Yankees gear on rich and his father in-law. Yankee fans or just like the gear? Wife and I love the mardi gras and hope to cruise on it next year. Our december cruise this year is on breeze, 3rd time on breeze...love it Keep it up !!!
We mainly just rep NYC lol. We go to the spring training every year in Tampa tho because of Jasmine’s Aunt. That’s nice man, I wouldn’t mind getting on the breeze again, you guys will definitely enjoy the Mardi Gras!

I did enjoy the vlog even though it was blurred for me, I tried adjusting but could not get a clear pic. Next time maybe. You all seem so at ease I don't know if I could do it tho' I want to so much.

Me and Jason had trouble with the child safety lock! Then we didn't realize the AC kicked off because we didn't have the balcony door latch in the upright position! 😂

The rooms below you are ocean suites. They have a bigger room but your balcony is bigger.

I feel like for this age 5 & 6 we don’t really need another room. We did a connecting room on the Carnival Paradise recently and it was amazing to have the extra space but I think we still have a few years before we make that a thing.
What I would say is if the cruise is cheap like the Carnival Paradise then book the connecting room but I wouldn’t pay any crazy prices until it’s really necessary
@@aRICHandJAZZYLife Thanks for the quick response!!! I’m finding that we can do connecting interiors for cheaper than 1 balcony actually. We’ve always done interiors and think we can sacrifice. I love the idea of having 2 bathrooms, we had 2 rooms on the Indy of the Seas this year and loved that aspect of it. They actually upgraded us for no charge from a ultra spacious ocean view to 2 connecting promenade view rooms due to our booked deck being shut down for possible Covid quarantine guests. Not sure if we can swing the 1 rooms but you are encouraging saying it’s not totally necessary.
@@cdecker84 if I have to choose between 1 balcony or connecting interior then the connecting interior wins for sure. It’s also pretty sweet to close the door when the kids go to sleep 😉

I was on the original Mardi Gras in 1983. She was a well love ship back than. Original Mardi Gras can fit in the new revamp of this Mardi Gras.

How was it traveling with the kids and not having the Kids Club H2O?
Well it was tough for that little break you usually get. We had my sister on the ship so we were able to go out at night. The kids will overall still had a great time
My husband mentioned that. He laughed and said, “ oh sister in law is on the ship,so they got a baby sitter”😂😂😂
I appreciated that message at the end of the video. We too travel with our boys and when they cancelled the kids club, we “ALL” (kids included) we’re super sad. My husband no longer wants to go. So what kinds of activities did you do with the girls kn the ship? I imagine there were not many catered to entertaining children. Carnival really needs to rethink this idea. For goodness sake, they are tested 24-72 hr prior to embarkation, again before embarkation got of the ship and lastly before disembarking to return home.

Love the simple color scheme they’re doing for the newer cruises. 2questions: Do you think a standard balcony room would be spacious for older children also and how about the bunk beds(just right for smaller kids only or would older kids be comfortable as well?
The bunk beds are basically the same twin size beds that you get when the beds are not put together to make a queen so it’s really the same size and can sleep an adult comfortable in my opinion. I know I would sleep in my parents bunk for free before paying for my own room lol

Hey, great video, beautiful family! My family and I are booked on Mardi gras for April ‘22, we have a balcony but I really like the one you had, much safe for our kiddos. Question, was your view obstructed or ruined in any way since you can see balconies below and also I noticed a white wall in front? Am I seeing correctly? Just curious what you thought of view and also if there was any more noise than typical belong closer to lower decks? Thx.
Hey Lisette! No it wasnt obstucted at all, we actually were happy water wasnt directly below with kids lol. We booked a regular balcony room on 10 and didnt realize it was so big. As for views tho, it was great. We had not noticed any extra noise

My agent says it has to be an extended balcony, but on the site it’s not described as such, but you can clearly see on map that it’s a larger balcony. I’m kinda surprised a carnival agent wouldn’t know this? Did all the balconies to your sides seem to be the same type? I’m looking at a cabin about 6 or 8 cabins down from where you were.
Hey so there basically if you look at the video there is like a “bump” near the middle ish where the balcony rooms stick out a bit further but as far as we could see, only 9-10 seem to be bigger. Our exact room was 10458 if they helps

They usually mail you a check if you have extra credit on your balance left over.
