@@SNieX0 Ah, you meant on the product. Will send this to the team, see what they think!
Excited for this product. Especially when the crew at OG gets their hands on it
Really appreciate you guys taking feedback from commenters, I'm sure it can be a pain since a lot of us want every feature possible for the lowest price. You guys do a great job figuring out whats important, what the quality needs to be for Active standards and what the corresponding price of that is.
I have an Active 2.0 right now and I absolutely love it, but I'm likely going to buy the 2.3 as well just because you guys make great products and I really appreciate the communication and company values.
I'm also really happy to hear the ramp up time thing won't be an issue, this sounds like a total homerun for me.
Great info! 15 amp is a huge thing. My next question would be how much does it weigh with and without the stand?
This is what we want to know what are the expected specs? Weight and size. What is the db rating? We all know how induction motors are supposed to sound but what’s it in db? 10ft away or 50ft away if you have the pressure washer that far away from you with your 50ft hose. This would be cool to know the unit looks great so far. I would highly suggest making it serviceable that would be awesome. If at the right price point and it was serviceable now you start throwing jabs in the ring with the big boy pressure washers. Overall I’m impressed already with the 2.3gpm.
and will there be a cart option?
I have the ve52 and absolutely love it. The extra flow it provides is very noticeable when rinsing soap off of my car. Worth every penny.
I am excited. I am been eyeing on the Active 2.0 but will save my money on this.
So exited to upgrade my pressure washer with this when it comes out 🙌🏻
I've got a v52 and it sounds like this is the machine I've been holding out for as an upgrade. Looking forward to 50+ ft hose lengths so I can mount this on a wall. Awesome customer engagement 👍
I have and ❤my 2.0 can’t wait for the 2.3 to launch
Wow! This is going to be Awsome!!
It’s a good looking unit! I am sure it would do well.
I like it! Active took some design cues from Kranzle but I'm sure it will perform well!
I looking forward to the upgrade. I use V52 with a 100 foot hose. It work well. I get the volume I need.
As the owner of the Canadian Active 2.0 (Simoniz) I love everything about it except the hose. I had to buy the UberFlex 50' to make the unit perfect. Absolutely the best unit in this category so the new 2.3 will be even better. I still think for the DIY homeowner enthusiast the Active 2.0 is more then enough. Something to consider in future product development is the inclusion or option for a better 50" hose.
I loved it, until it crapped out 6 months later and water was flowing out the bottom. Got it "repaired" under warranty and 3 months later, you guessed it - water out the bottom. Sadly(wish to support a Canadian co.)after that experience needless to say I am very hesitant in purchasing another Active unit.
What is the 2.0 under the simoniz brand?
@@mcham0846 Its the Simoniz one sold at Canadian Tire
@@bbrewer609 that's the same one as the Active VE52 is it not?
Yeah, go ahead and release this so I can buy it absolutely immediately.
Love your products, been holding out out buying a pro grade pressure washer for this mechine.. it’s winter here In PA, but starting a mobile detailing business.. hope you make it serviceable…at a good price point and serviceable this will be a knockout.. the people servicing it know how to use a wrench and a screwdriver. Love your company.. but make an affordable opportunity for the pro’s that are just getting started!
I wish they would make a wand extension for the gun. Need something thats color matches.
Very good point to not include a gun and hose. I have so many brand new quality spray guns and they are just sitting next to the junk spray guns that I got from Ryobi. I rather just have the machine.
Hi,
This is super exciting! Are you going to distribute it in Australia? Would you expect this to be in the 1st or 2nd half of 2024?
Has there been thought given to accessorizing the unit? I’d like to maybe see a cart that has a built in hose reel and a holder for an extension cord (maybe 25’ or 50’ of 12ga) in addition to a small gun, foam cannon, and spare nozzle storage. This would obviously increase the cost, but if sold as additional items or a bundle kit, I think they would sell
Hello and thank you for the video I really like your product although I’ve never used it it’s on my next to buy when my machine breaks down, obsessive garage has a configuration where he is putting two machines together, for better performance, can you do that with this model?
👍👍👍👍👍
Love to know the price point ball park, to know if i should wait or just buy the 2.0
You talk a lot about the motor, but I think the pump should be equally important as well. What type of pump is this unit going to have? wobble or axial?
Many detailers will only want the unit
Can’t wait to see it perform and can’t wait to get my hands on one
My 2.0 stalls often but j still love it
Will you add heavy duty locking casters and caster wheels with brakes? Thank you.
When will more details be available regarding the serviceability and repairability of the unit?
I specifically did not buy the 2.0 due to there being essentially no repairability.
If i leave my 2.0 plugged in the plug stays warm like it drawing current so I keep it unplugged when not in use
Will Active be pursuing a triplex pump version in the future?
I had the original active and the 2.0 and they both eventually had the same issue where the pump just keeps running even when you release the trigger. Even took advise from the team and replaced hoses and nozzles and still does it. Never again
Is the outlet a m12 14mm?
What is the warranty period and expected lifespan?
When will this be released??! I need a commercial pressure washer and I’m waiting on this one but can only wait so long…. 2024 isn’t a great answer. I’m dying to
Grab this.. and what is your price point on this?
When is it available in Indonesia?
How much is it?
Any plans on releasing in the UK ? Its a huge market for you.
It's on our wish list for 2024! Will keep you updated.
Why does the 2.0 not turn off sometimes after releasing the trigger?
Could be a pressure issue. Have you tried contacting support@activeproducts.com? They will guide you through some troubleshooting steps or replace the unit if necessary.
I ask that question if it's going to be serviceable.... we need a pressure that we can do the oil change so we don't feel like we still have a portable unit
You mean a cheaper unit than Kranzle and AR. Because those two are serviceable.
@timkinley1779 I have a serviceable pressure washer just not total stop system from canpump
*The Tesla of electric pressure washers so far ahead AWESOME!!!*
Exaggerate much? And why?
@timkinley1779 It is going to use an induction motor which was literally invented by Tesla
Is OG on board with this new version? 50 foot hose?
Sounds like it'll land around $1000... Going for the crowd that won't spend 14-1500 but wants more than a 400 disposable (the 2.0) unit.
It looks like an 80’s video game console
Kinda like Duck Hunt but with a water gun?
Can it run in a setup with 2 pressure washers running in tandem? Obsessed Garage tested the 2.0 and it failed when the Kranzle and the AR both were successful. They were getting upwards of 4+ gallons per minute and with the dual setup. Maybe you can try a similar test.
Yeah I wish they tried with check valves in hoses before saying it failed. I think the back flow was the issue
The internal components were not built to the same specs as Kranzle and AR. The 2.0 is built to a price point, the other two cost what they cost.
@@timkinley1779 it wasn’t fully tested with check valves, thats what commercial pressure is washer companies do, they only tested them without it. If it still doesn’t work after that then I’ll agree. I would like to see it tested on ryobi’s also and not just in theory
@@pantac4493 The unit doesn't have check valves for whatever reason. So you think OG should design something in addition to the actual unit, for you? You do it.
@@timkinley1779 lol clearly you don’t know how it works, you just believe everything they tell you and repeat it like a parrot lmao. They don’t have to build anything special, all they had to do was insert two check valves in the existing hoses that they already had setup to test it properly. Eventually someone who uses their pressure washer more than me and needs that kind performance will do more test. By the way, most pressure washers are serviceable if you have a few brain cells to take it apart, been there done that myself
ACTIVE's new 2.3 GPM pressure washer is a game-changer, but here are a few tweaks that could make it even more unstoppable:
PSI Perfection:
Bump up the PSI to 2000+ for a truly effortless cleaning.
Portable Powerhouse:
Keep the weight under 40 lbs, ideally 35 lbs, with a durable carry frame for easy portability.
Modular Magic:
Sell parts and attachments separately to cater to diverse needs and budgets.
Pricing and Monetization:
Set an attractive base price, then upsell optional add-ons like wheels, mounting brackets, etc.
We're excited to see how ACTIVE's 2.3 GPM pressure washer can help us take our business to the next level. We believe that this product has the potential to revolutionize the industry, and we are proud to be a part of its development.
Id pay about $500 for it with no accessories
It will def be more than that since the AR blue is about $800 and the kranzle is $1200.
First!!!!
The 2.0 is not giving me the numbers you state, stop fooling people.
Wasted $350 on it smh disappointed
1) he's testing the 2.3333333 (not the 2.0). And it's a prototype (not even out yet)
2) you can watch real-life testing of the 2.0 on youtube. Maybe you got a lemon, or you're using it wrong :P
The editing is a little too much especially with the zoom ins..there arent 14 yr olds with 20 second attention spans watching this, no need for all the extra.
Might just be you man. Video seems real good
@@broken2550It’s not just him.
@@AndyDufresne4 of what age group are you guys... no disrespect but they run their company in the manner they wish and honestly I don't think any video style will make any difference for the worst. The company is already known because their machines are good. That is like 90% already done. Allow them to do as they wish don't be to picky
