    You’re dead on about the Pro part of the conversation. I do think the tools make a difference in the right hands but personally, I’m always going to be a beginner in a lot of areas of production and in some areas, the performance. There’s very few Prince like people and the talent he had. Great music and performance on your side. I’m subscribing.

    I really like what you’re doing on this video. I believe to be a pro is based first on the knowledge on theory then go to get the best tools you can provide to your self to create something daily. Thanks for sharing.

    I play piano, guitar, bass, drums, and have an EWI where I think I am some sort of jazz sax player. Truth is I'm very average at all of them, well except the EWI, I'm just bad at that 😀. I record myself quite a bit just to basically diary myself and see improvement. Decent stuff I put on a TH-cam channel I have but it's mostly for me. I have an M1 Mac mini so lots of cables running around to get to my gear. I know you don't have plugins on this yet, but I do see a use case where I can bring this to my drums, piano, etc, do my recording, and then load that all up on the mini to mix and all of that.

    • @seljoypro
      @seljoypro  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is so cool bro especially being able to play the EWI! You’re gonna have a lot of fun recording yourself in Logic. There’s a ton of ways to take what you already know towards a finished product ready for the streaming stores.

    Wow man, thank you for this very informative and insightful video! Subbed. I love that sound you were working with. I'm a long time amateur with varying skill and experience. I've been leaping into garageband and have produced a few things. Currently I'm exploring plugging in my guitar via a audio interface. Can you recommend some guitar modulation aps which will work with logic pro on the iPad?
    Thanks again!
    Oh almost forgot. What makes pro... I think it's the sound first and foremost yet, definition wise it might just be connected to whether or not one can make a profit... I dunno. Cheers!

    • @seljoypro
      @seljoypro  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Via USB when using Logic’s software synth drums. Via audio interface when using the vdrum module sounds. BTW, the Vdrum module can also act as an audio interface depending on your module. Bluetooth midi also works (use the Logic Settings menu to configure bluetooth midi).

      Hi there. I’m currently using a Behringer x32 compact digital mixer as my audio interface. It gives me lots of routing options for DAW recording, zero latency for my clients mic’d recordings, independent headphone mixes using the P16s. I can send a different mix for streaming/video recording. I record bands also. It works for my different applications. However you can do what I did with a 2 channel interface like the Presonus audiobox. It’s much cheaper, and because I’m using the iPad software synths as my sound source, the only thing I would need channels for is the bass guitar and another mic’d instrument.
      The bulk of what you heard was from within the iPad with software plugins.

      🤣🤣 you know what, we’re not allowed to say that part out loud. For all the critiques of whether it is pro or not, the real question is are we pros? Today’s creatives seek more and more features to help us sound like pros. Here’s to platforms that nurture our creativity and encourage us to grow.

    • @seljoypro
      @seljoypro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Christian thanks for your question. Sometimes you have to have the region selected (or all regions by selecting the track itself). Then analyze the track by turning on Flex in the inspector (for iPad Pro). If it doesn’t analyze right away you may have to toggle it on and off. Try this and see if that works for you.

    Question I have my midi keyboard which I use on logics presets sound and I have my midi electric drums that I also use the logic sounds but I want to be able to have both midi connected to my hub and asigne them to diferente channels ,,reason is when I have both connected at the same time I’m playing piano on my keyboard and triggering the drums as well which I don’t want to do that ,I’ve try already assigning first track to the keyboard and second track to the drums but still both get trigger by one another please if you k ow a way to have both midi instruments connected it will help a lot ❤❤

    • @seljoypro
      @seljoypro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Tino. When you select your track, there’s a small “i” button at the bottom left. This will bring up the Inspector. From the inspector you can change the midi channel for your tracks. You may or may not have to change the midi transmit channels on your controllers and vdrum module. I hope that helps.

    Is there any Clip gain or fade out function in the iPad version of Logic Pro

    • @seljoypro
      @seljoypro  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it’s all there in the inspector. Select the region you want and then use the “i” icon at the bottom left to bring up the inspector.

    • @Ryanthemusician
      @Ryanthemusician ปีที่แล้ว

      @@seljoypro is that for the clip gain?

    • @seljoypro
      @seljoypro  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ryanthemusician you can adjust the gain in the inspector yes. The audio editing window that appears at the bottom after pressing the ✏️ tool seems to give you limited audio editing there. But you can make the same cuts, trims, stretches and gain adjustments in the inspector window to the left.
      The desktop version offers more fine editing of audio in the audio editing window.

    It's less pro than Garageband at the moment. The inability to accept external instrument or other plugins is certainly not pro. It's not worth paying £5 a month for something that fails to perform as well as free software. Subscription to the Logic Pro for iPad cancelled after trial. The Logic Pro programmer clearly needs to brush up on his COBOL or whatever programming language he is using.
